Perhaps one of the most interesting things to see in Bangkok is the live boxing match, Muay Thai, Thailandâs national sport. Itâs a completely different experience shopping at a market with an English-speaking local to tell you whatâs going on. Continuing with the edible things to do in Bangkok, floating markets are some of the best places to go to for an authentic food experience in the city. Itâs located in a calm alleyway right next to the Sri Mariamman Hindu Temple and Soi Silom 20 with excellent street food options.
But there are many other things to do in Normandy including the iconic Mont-Saint-Michel, illustrious Monetâs Garden, and the unbelievable Bayeux Tapestry. Soak Up the Impressionism at Claude Monetâs Garden Out of all the things to do in Normandy, the excellent Monet House and Garden are sure to be a highlight of your tour around the area. Plus the cost of a Tuk Tuk with a driver to take you around is $15 to $20 per day. Thereâs a fast boat service which leaves daily from Chau Doc (4 hours drive from Saigon) in Vietnamâs Mekong Delta and takes 5h to reach Phnom Penh via the river.

In France, "beau village de France" means one of the most beautiful villages in France. And this tiny place, St Suzanne, recommended to us by the locals, is known as Pearl of Maine. The place felt well off the beaten path. There was hardly anyone there. It was a real treat to explore. We walked the narrow cobbled streets, visited the castle ruins and climbed up the 14-15th Century ramparts for panoramic views. We are bidding farewell to Normandie with this beautiful view. So happy we made it to St. Michael's Mount yesterday at sunset. We had a good wander around the fortress and a good walk to and from the mount. Today is overcast and rainy and the beach would have been too wet and muddy for the photos. Perfect weather for a day's work though. Although, we would have probably stayed nearby and waited for the better weather. The perks of living in a van conversion, eh. Normandy has been an absolute star. We felt so welcomed here in our van conversion and so lucky to be able to stay in aires equipped for campervans. We loved roaming the little picturesque villages and tasting the local delicacies, exploring the memorial beaches and learning more about life in France. And we look forward to seeing a little bit more of it in the next couple of weeks. â¤
