I find that so refreshing β this little world of perfectly staged spaces can definitely be discouraging sometimes β like, βugh β my space doesnβt look like that, thereβs just no way!β Well, lots of these spaces didnβt look like this for a long time! Budgets are real, busy hectic lives are real. A good reminder to go at your own pace and take the time to plan what would work best for you. I took all my colored couch pillows and hid them in the office yesterday and replaced them with neutrals that were scattered throughout the house. I then see a photo like this by @housebykate and am not only ready to pull them back out, but paint my walls black and go on a pillow buying spree β go all moody/eclectic π Sometimes I feel like I should have a style thatβs consistent, especially on here where Iβm surrounded by accounts with such a cohesive aesthetic from post to post (at first glance you canβt tell sometimes if itβs the same room)!
