M O N D A Y • M O T I V A T I O N We have 4 Monday’s left in 2020. 👊🏼That’s four fresh starts before the new year. ✨Four chances to show up better then the week before. 🔥Four chances to prove to yourself that you are worth it, capable & badass (although it doesn’t have to be a Monday for that😉) Don’t wait until January to level up your life, your athleticism, your knowledge, your routines, your circle... etc. Pick one small thing to improve every week, and after four Monday’s, you’ll find yourself going into the new year w a 4% head start. This week I’m focusing on consistency w my morning & evening routine. I’m focusing on increasing value in my day by increasing value within these routines. Small, consistent steps = big changes. November 3, 2020. One word I want to talk about: resilience. What does it mean to be resilient? 👉🏼 “It’s your ability to withstand adversity and bounce back and grow despite life’s downturns,” (Amit Sood, MD) 👉🏼the capability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change. (Merriam-Webster). It’s no coincidence I chose this word today. I wanted to give you some pointers on how to work on increasing resilience & on how to get your body moving in a way that does not increase stress, but rather help alleviate it. (Let’s be honest, intense physical work for the body is necessary but nonetheless can be stressful on the nervous and hormonal systems & we don’t have time for that today 🙅🏻‍♀️) Today & for the rest of 2020 I encourage you to: • be optimistic & build positive beliefs in your personal abilities • take actions that correlate directly with solving whatever problem or hardship you are facing (rather than sulking in agony) • create personal goals and focus your energy inward & on those.. think of something you personally need & want to improve on (not related to any current events or uncontrollable life factors) •and lastly• •take care of yourself 👏🏼 —- what is some things you can do to calm your mind? —- 📌read or watch something solely entertaining 📌move your body in a way that makes you FEEL GOOD. (Do not choose something you are dreading to do movement wise- this is not the world climate for that.) -> example: being in nature brings me so much peace, today is an outdoor yoga& bike ride kind of day for me. 📌fuel your body with allll the best foods and nutrients (try not to indulge in toooo much comfort food as this will create more internal stress on the body) 📌and get involved with an uplifting community and lean on each other-DM me if you need, I am a part of an amazing community of women empowering women and we are always expanding our tribe. Open yourself up to a new perspective & watch yourself become L I M I T L E S S. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Limiting beliefs are thoughts we ALL encounter and create within ourselves. They come in all forms, shapes, & extremes but if we become mindful of these thought patterns, we can evolve them, as they are nothing more then THOUGHTS which create LIMITING boundaries within our own minds. Limiting beliefs sound like: “I don’t have time for ____” “Meeting new people is hard” “Carbs will make me gain weight” “Sleep is for the weak” “Looking like ___ will make me happy” “I can’t eat a lot” “There’s too much confusing information out there for me to figure it out” “I don’t have the motivation” .....etc etc etc etc the list can go on forever. My advice to alter these perceptions: •Practice Awareness of you thoughts •Change the dialogue in your head (play devils advocate with yourself) •Say yes to something you’d normally say no to. •Embrace discomfort •Surround yourself with people who are strong in areas you are weak & ride their energetic wave •Get yourself a coach Let’s work on the awareness now, drop one limiting belief you want to break through in the comments ⤵️ Happy Friday AIN fam💫 HAVE A BOMB ASS HALLOWEEN- can’t wait to see all your costumes😍👻👹🦹🏼‍♀️👽😸👮🏻
