✨GRAND OPENING✨ @oakandvine.ny is officially open! This new spot is located in Glen Cove and is dishing out classic american cuisine in a casual space with a hint of sophistication. The menu has a nice variety of dishes that can cater to all palates plus a nice focus on seafood. We started with their Mai Tai insprired signature cocktail which we highly recommend trying. For appetizers make sure to order the burrata for the table. We also love the onion dip for something to snack on. They have many pasta entrees to choose from, we recommend trying the saffron cavatelli with seafood, my personal favorite dish of the night. For entrees don’t skip on the burger, its thick and super juicy and the jam goes so well with the gruyere. THE CROOKIE - but make it ala mode 🤤 @spaghettinimineola just started offering these and you know i had to run to try it. It was everything i was imagining - soft, flakey, chocolatey and oh so good! 🍊 OAK & ORANGE 🍊 Have you heard of this new Eatery in Mineola? @oakandorangeny serves breakfast and lunch, offering fresh and filling meals. Its a great place to grab something to go or sit down and enjoy a meal with a friend. this reel highlights their breakfast items including the japanese egg sando, the avocado toast and the smoke and mirrors lox sandwich. In addition to their signature sandwiches, platters and bowls they also offer coffee, tea, and some really incredible desserts. (More content to come) Thats not all! They also function as a marketplace and are stocked with hand picked items that are perfect to add to your pantry. This includes specialty drinks, coffees, seasonings, dry goods and more! Oak and Orange is located in Mineola, right next to the LIRR and are only open M-TH 7am-4pm! They hope to open on Fridays in the near future but have no set date yet. We highly recommend stopping in, especially our local NYU colleagues! Pro Tip: save room for the brown butter chocolate chip cookie and request it warmed up! #lieats

With prices starting at 27.99 you will not believe everything that is included. The all you can eat menu at Kiseki is HUGE. They have EVERYTHING. Happy Friday! It’s time to make your brunch plans for the weekend and we have the perfect spot! @grexicana is Long Island’s first ever Greek & Mexican fusion restaurant and its located in Farmingdale! The mix is absolutely genius and we highly recommend trying this spot out. Their cocktail menu is really excellent with something for all palates, not drinking? No problem - they also have a really great mocktail list. Liv loved her frozen lemonade & kept trying to steal my berry burlesque! Let’s be clear - the Baklava French Toast is 100% the best thing on the menu and must be ordered. We always like to get something sweet for the table and then order our own savory dishes. This is the something sweet u need! (I did not order the churro pancakes but they did look incredible & will be getting them next time) For savory dishes - the chorizo hash was my favorite, so flavorful - we got our eggs over easy & the yolkkk over the hash 🤤 YUM. The greek breakfast burger was also top notch, with a big slab of seared feta and guajillo mayo, arugala, tomato & a sunny side up egg! Perfection! Spring is in bloom and summer is just around the corner which means outdoor dining is just about here!! After months of being stuck inside we all need to get outside! When it comes to brunch, i got you! @the.union.restaurant at eisenhower park is the perfect spot to brunch with friends and soak in some sun. Their newly updated patio is great for dining al fresco & they have the perfect backdrop for your instagram needs. Plus, you can watch the golfers right from your seat! We love people watching so a spot by the putting green is perfect for us. Their menu is excellent and the drinks are even better. Take this as a sign and go try @galleriaofmerrick . We love this spot. I’ve posted about Galleria in the past and still feel the same, this hidden gem is a must try! They are serving up delicious innovative dishes and whether you want to dine in or take out its got to be on your list of places to check out. Owner Ciro is not running your typical pizzeria. He has the classics, and they’re great, but its the other menu items that are worth traveling for. Like the scarpiello chicken wings cooked in a pepper and onion sauce and topped with parmesean cheese, or the fried brussel sprouts that are so addicting you will need the waiter to take the plate away so you can save room for your main course. Or any of their eye catching pizza slices that i havent seen done anywhere else (check their instagram to see these!) & the fact that this spot is located just off the southern state makes it super convenient too. Pro tip: get the Pappardelle Al Telefono - fresh homemade pasta with garlic, shallots and basil cooked in a fresh mozzarella pink cream sauce. The BEST! #lieats

Pasta Alla Ruota - aka the cheese wheel pasta ! What is better than having your pasta served tableside from a hot cheese wheel? You can find this amazing pasta dish @osteriaumbra in Smithtown. The pasta is tossed in a truffle cream sauce that is incredibly rich and delicious, shout out to the waiter who recommended sharing the pasta with the table and not getting it as an entree.
