🇬🇧 Similan Islands in Thailand are truly special. The clarity of the water allows you to see marine life in all its beauty, from small tropical fish to impressive coral reefs. Its beaches are famous, in addition to the color of its water, for its fine white sand and for its rock formations. They can only be visited by a guide tour. We went from Khao Lak, where we were staying and from there, by speedboat we arrived in an hour and a half to this paradise. There is another way to explore these Islands and it is doing on a Liveaboard: a shared boat where you can spend several nights. Without a doubt, I will do this next time, as I think the experience should be much better this way. This temple has been in my bucket list for years 🐉 It is one hour driving from Bangkok. We rented a driver to spend one day visiting places around Bangkok and it was the best choice we could make. The temple is free of charge but people there ask you for a donation. 🇬🇧Welcome to 📍Khao Sok National Park in Thailand, a biodiversity hotspot, featuring one of the world’s oldest rainforests, estimated to be over 160 million years old. The park is home to various wildlife, including elephants, tigers, and exotic bird species. 🐘🐅 The stunning Cheow Lan Lake within the park is dotted with limestone karst formations, creating a picturesque setting for boat trips. The landscape is outstanding and the best thing is that is not overcrowded to you can really enjoy it to the fullest. We did a day trip from Khao Lak. There are many companies that offer these kind of tours. There are a few hotels with floating bungalows surrounded by breathtaking limestones.
