someone asked me for stores that carried cute wedding guest dresses for midsize/plus size women- and i wanted to answer them with a whole list of brands that would have dresses that make them feel beautiful and confident.. but i couldn’t. my list was short, and included barely 3 brands. i currently wear a size 12/14 or L/XL and while these dresses fit me as a midsize woman, it’s important to note that there are a lot of stores that can do so much better, especially ones that claim to be inclusive. while we can recognize the small changes that have been made because a small step is better than no step, there is so much work that still needs to be done. you cannot call yourself inclusive, if you do not fit inclusively. i hope that one day soon, these brands will hear us. ily 🫶🏼 #midsize #midsizeweddingguestdress #weddingguestdresses #midsizedress #selflovejourney #selflove

i wassss gym obsessed, a little gym 🐭 but life changed, my body changed, and that’s okay. because i was always so self-conscious about my body, the physical part of me was always a top priority. now that’s not to say it isn’t important, but it’s ✨just as✨ important as what’s on the inside. i’ve learned to love my body at 216 lbs more than i ever loved my body at 145 lbs. and whatever the scale says in a few months after i start giving the physical part of me more love, i know she’s beautiful no matter what.. ps and so are you. 💜 #selflove #midsize #midsizeoutfit #gymfit #selflovejourney #midsizestyle
