A full time university student juggling full time business. I class myself as a creative entrepreneur as I pursue multiple channels of creative business. Most of this is in the form of illustration work via Etsy. I create student lifestyle and entrepreneur/small business focused content on Instagram, YouTube, and my blog. My aims are to use the platform I have for good, and to use my experiences and journey to make the journeys of others easier or shorter.
I strive to provide my student based audience with the best possible opportunities and deals when it comes to collaborations and have become incredibly picky with who I work with as a result.

I recently started a more personal Instagram account to mess around with photo editing and posting whatever I want. In this post, I’m going to walk you through what features of the app I use to create the edit and add my watermark – the most essential part of any content you plan on uploading to the internet. first I select the image I want to edit from my gallery, and make some smaller adjustments to the white balance using the white balance tool depending on the particular photo. I also use Snapseed for my lilynzst and shop accounts, but just to adjust white balance and add the watermark.
How it works is, you read a book that follows the prompt list I’ve created every month and make a post about it at the end of the month on your platform of choice. The goal of this challenge / book club is to get us all actively reading at least one book a month, even if it’s a re read or something small. If you don’t feel like doing any more re-reading, then maybe pick a book that someone else had to read for school. To be continued Similar to the second chance prompt, this month read a book you stopped reading for some reason even though you were enjoying it.
I asked on my Instagram story a while ago (months ago actually) for questions about my shop and have been tossing around ideas of how to go about answering them for a while, so here we are! please keep in mind that these are all based on my own experiences as an independent creator and full time student in New Zealand. I print my designs onto sticker paper (canon maxify MB2160 inkjet printer) and then use a Silhouette Portrait 2 to cut them into sheets with kiss cut stickers. The machine takes an average of about 4 minutes to cut 2 sticker sheets, while I used to take something crazy like 30 minutes to cut one by hand. When people order multiple of these larger items, the order always gets classed as a package by the post office and the shipping does a massive jump in price.
No matter how many things you cross off of your to-do list, if there are a few things left it can take away from that sense of accomplishment or you can feel that those things just aren’t enough. To accompany this new goal setting method, I have also changed how I assign tasks and plan my days. but I hope it gives you at least an idea of how I structure my days and plan around things and a bit of insight into how I set achievable goals to feel more accomplished in my days, weeks, and months. By using this new success margin style of goal setting alongside a more structured yet flexible planning method, I have been able to complete more tasks to a higher quality.
