Trump's big day: Deconstructing the Mueller Report

Glenn went by the Daily Caller to talk about why cable news stinks, what he thought of Trump's SOTU speech and more! When asked what he's trying to achieve through BlazeTV, Glenn said, "We're doing what you're doing . . . We're trying to tell the truth as we see it, tell the truth as we find it and replace the old media, because the old media is wildly broken."

Democrat candidate power rankings by Stu: April 17th edition

It's key to note that the original name of the group was the German Worker's Party (italics mine), but party-supporter and journalist Karl Herrer recommended against including the word "socialist" because it might be confused with another local political party (the Social Democratic Party of Germany) and might make it more challenging to gain the support of his middle-class newspaper subscribers. As explained in William Shirer's seminal, "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich"(a work every American should read), on that same day, the German Workers' Party changed its name to the National Socialist German Workers' Party. In fact, as detailed in the already cited "The Rise and Fall of Fascism," the reason that Anton Drexler and others founded the National Socialist German Workers' Party in the first place was their rejection of the existing Social-Democratic Party and Communist Party's of nationalism. Certainly there are no contemporary media references to the National Socialist German Workers' Party as "fascists" during the era of the party's founding in 1919, at the time Hitler wrote and presented the National Socialist Program in 1920, leading up to the Beer-Hall Putsch in late 1923, during Hitler's incarceration in 1924 and even leading up to the elections of 1928 and 1930.

Arthur Brooks

Glenn is joined by Arthur Brooks, a New York Times bestselling author of 11 books with topics like the Role of Government, Fairness, Economic Opportunity, Happiness, and the morality of Free Enterprise. Interestingly enough, Arthur Brooks spent 12 years of his life being a professional French Hornist playing with the Annapolis Brass Quintet as well as City Orchestra of Barcelona. He later went to teach Economics and Social Entrepreneurship at Syracuse University and has since then been serving as the President of the American Enterprise Institute, which is a nationally recognized think tank based in Washington, D.C., where he leads a community of scholars and supporters that are committed to expanding liberty, increasing individual opportunity, and strengthening free enterprise for all Americans. He is actually about to leave that role as he will transition to a new role at Harvard where he will be a Professor at the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School.

Matt Kibbe

Glenn sits down with Matt Kibbe who is the President and Chief Community Organizer at Free the People, an education organization turning the next generation on to the values of liberty which is fitting because he is also the host of Kibbe on Liberty on Blaze TV. They discuss various dimensions of socialism as well as answer the question, "is there really such a thing as good socialism? " They also discuss capitalism and how it ultimately is the only thing that will work in terms of continuing to build this country as well as solve other problems like poverty in the world.
