At 3,883 meters above sea level (12,740 ft), Klein Matterhorn is the highest point in Europe you can reach by a cable car. When I filmed this, from the window of Europe's highest restaurant, the temperature was minus 8 degrees Celsius (18 degrees Fahrenheit). And yet she was living "la vie en rose", the summer of her life. If that's not for @influencersinthewild, I don't know what is. _____________________________________ 🚢***mapping the extraordinary*** _____________________________________ Video by: @ovolicki #glaciers #kleinmatterhorn #switzerlandtrip #fashioninfluencers #influencersofinstagram #styleinfluencers #summerdreams #winteroutfits

The bustling port city of Marseille is another unavoidable stop on your South of France holiday itinerary. The capital of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region is a melting pot of cultures, with riches ranging from ancient forts to majestic churches and world-class museums. If you want to dive deep into the region’s past, you should explore MuCEM. The Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations was launched in 2013 when Marseille held the title of the European Capital of Culture. The allure of the South of France is often associated with the glamour of the French Riviera. This beautiful slice of the Mediterranean is a magnet for jet-setters. But even if you’re not from the extravagant line of rich and fabulous, you should still pay a visit to the red carpet of all holiday destinations. The picturesque towns and villages, such as Èze, which has been stunning with views since the Middle Ages, are oases of relaxation. The global theme for Earth Day 2024 was “Planet vs. Plastics”. We produce 380 million tons of plastic per year and recycle a measly 9%! Even on islands that are supposedly banning plastic bags, you can find bananas (out of all fruit!) wrapped in individual plastic wrappers. Why are we so oblivious in front of this plastic pollution? Learn more about what the tourism industry can do to not be the contributor to the problem - read the article linked in the bio!👆 @pipeaway.project _____________________________________ 🚢***mapping the extraordinary*** _____________________________________ Image by: @ovolicki #plasticsucks #plasticwaste #plasticpollutes #earthday2024 #earthdayeveryday #kohsamet #mappingtheextraordinary #pipeaway

The first time I noticed the AI Facebook trend with fabricated travel content taking off was in September 2023. Only a year after modern text-to-image diffusion models appeared on the scene, they entered the mainstream but were far from refined. The not-really sophisticated image of “vacation in Santorini“, with poorly mimicked Greek architecture connected by waterslides, was clearly made in the infancy of the image generator’s development. The architecture didn’t make sense, stairs led nowhere, people were just skin-toned blobs… Yet, shared on the Facebook page A World of Luxury Travel, the post attracted nearly a million likes, more than 58 thousand comments, and over 84 thousand shares. In the comments, the links would lead to shady websites, with low-quality AI-generated content and high-yielding advertising space. Learn what you need to know about how scammers and spammers use AI to fool you - Pipeaway's article is linked in the bio! 👆 @pipeaway.project _____________________________________ 🚢***mapping the extraordinary*** _____________________________________ Image by: AI #santoriniisland #waterslides #waterparks #artificialintelligence #scammers #fraudawareness #mappingtheextraordinary #pipeaway

Another concept that made Facebook sink into an AI craze is those posts telling you to "close your eyes 70%", so you can see "the magic". Squinting made people find Jesus in anything from waterfalls and beaches to skies and even fruit stands. Social media users who are willing to comment "amen" under these images which they observe as a mysterious act of God are the perfect victims of an elaborate scam network. Learn how these omnipresent Facebook frauds operate on the link in the bio! 👆 @pipeaway.project _____________________________________ 🚢***mapping the extraordinary*** _____________________________________ Image by: AI #ai #fraud #facebooklife #jesusculture #scammer #godisreal #mappingtheextraordinary #pipeaway

From Iran, via Greece, to Switzerland, fake AI images such as these are spiraling out of control on Facebook. What's behind this social media trend trying to convince us that master architects, humans and nature, created places that are so otherworldly harmonious? Are they just trying to hypnotize us? Read everything you should know about AI flooding your Facebook feed on Pipeaway; the link is in the bio! 👆 @pipeaway.project _____________________________________ 🚢***mapping the extraordinary*** _____________________________________ Image by: AI #artificialintelligence #scamalert #scammers #fraudalert #fraudawareness #facebooklife #mappingtheextraordinary #pipeaway

This is another image shared by the Facebook page Slovak Travel falsely presenting a paradise resort in the Maldives. This place doesn't exist. It was just an AI creation used to lure people excited by exotic destinations to "win" prizes and share sensitive personal data in yet another Facebook scam. “Wow, absolutely beautiful. I can hear the waves and smell the fresh ocean breeze”, commented Natalie under the same image appearing on the Maldives Islands page too. The post gained 262 thousand likes and countless comments from impressed Facebook users. Meta's popular social network is swamped with images of places and people that never existed. So what kind of scheme is behind that? Find out in our investigative article linked in the bio! 👆 @pipeaway.project _____________________________________ 🚢***mapping the extraordinary*** _____________________________________ Image by: AI #tropic #tropicalisland #villadesign #artificialintelligence #ai #scamalert #scammers #scammed #fraud #fraudalert #fraudprevention #fraudster #fraudawareness #frauds #facebooklife #maldivesresorts #maldivesisland #maldiveslovers #maldivestrip #maldivesbeach #maldivesinsider #maldivesmania #maldivesparadise #visitmaldives #mappingtheextraordinary #practical #pipeaway

Bora Bora? Thailand? Slovakia? :) Depending on who you ask, this image could represent anything, anywere. And yet, it is a mere collection of pixels arranged with Midjourney, by an "AI artist/architectural designer" Maria Dudkina, also known as @sunt_mrr. As she puts it herself, “I am creating a world that can exist”. Well, blueberry beds and iceberg villas might disagree, but... Without evaluating the quality of this as "art" or "architectural design", it is a fact that images like this one are being (mis)used by spammers and scammers, especially on Facebook, to lure unsuspecting victims into schemes they would never benefit from. Learn what you need to know about the flood of AI pictures in social media (especially Facebook) on Pipeaway; the link is in the bio! 👆 @pipeaway.project _____________________________________ 🚢***mapping the extraordinary*** _____________________________________ Image by: @sunt_mrr #boraboraisland #thailandtrip #thailandinstagram #jamesbondisland #tropic #tropicalisland #poolvilla #pooldesign #infitnitypools #villadesign #artificialintelligence #ai #scamalert #scammers #scammed #fraud #fraudalert #fraudprevention #fraudster #fraudawareness #frauds #facebooklife #mappingtheextraordinary #practical #pipeaway
