I just did a campaign for some beauty products and I don’t absolutely hate the way the photos turned out of myself, so I figured I could post something here. 🤣 Happy Saturday! The simplicity of photos like this make my heart melt! 😭 I’m so ready for fall weather to make it’s return, even though that seems like it’s SO far away. I can’t lie, though, I’m a sucker for some snow... but only for a few days. 🤣❄️

It’s the new year, so you know what that means... Writing “2020” on EVERY date and awkwardly having to scratch it out and put “2021”. 😅 It’s also Monday and I’m ready to get back to work, but I did also love having a little bit of time off. Cheers to the new year, y’all! 🎉

If 2020 was a facial expression... No, really, 2020 was a HOT mess, but it was full of lessons and for that, I am grateful. I’m thankful for being able to stay healthy while working the frontline in healthcare. I had a COVID19 scare in March and was out of work for an entire week, but I was thankfully negative even though I felt SO awful. Here’s to 2021! I am completely open-minded about what’s to come and I’m hoping for the best. Happy New Year to all of you! Thank you for following me on this journey! Here’s to the new year. ❤️

Gosh, these fall colors really have me feeling the winter blues! Fall is my absolute favorite season because of the weather and beautiful leaves and scenery. I’m still excited to (hopefully) do snow mini sessions this year! (That’s probably #1 on my photography bucket list right now 🤣) Tell me, what’s your favorite season?! ☀️❄️

Oh, you know, just hanging around. 🤣 Can you BELIEVE we are just a few days away from 2021? With the roller coaster that 2020 has been, I’ve never been so excited for a new year. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for all of us! 🤞🏼

Merry Christmas from the two behind ‘Gilson Photography’! This is our 4th Christmas together and 2nd Christmas married and sometimes, I don’t know how it has been so long! We made breakfast this morning and then opened our gifts from each other. We’re definitely using this time to unwind from the craziness of this year. But, on a serious note, I have a question for y’all. Hot cocoa or eggnog? I’ve never had eggnog before, but the thought of it... 🤢 Hot cocoa alllll the way!

So, here we are, just DAYS away from Christmas. I’m totally reminiscing on those fall colors that I miss so dearly. You never would’ve guessed we had a huge storm the night before! Where’s the snow at tho? 🥴

You know those clients who are ALL natural and need very little queuing or posing? Those are the best couples. 😍 Oddly enough, I’m SO awkward in front of a camera so I am the worst poser and I’m so sorry for anyone who has taken my picture before. 😂

Sometimes I get “those” shots aka the unplanned ones that just happen naturally. 😂 We are less than a week away from Christmas! How is everyone feeling? It doesn’t at ALL feel like it should be Christmas next week, but this entire year has felt so off anyway. 🎄
