IS TSUKIJI MARKET WORTH IT? In my opinion, not anymore šŸ˜”. I went years ago back in 2015 when it was located in their original location and while still touristy, I thought it was a better, less crowded experience! I also got to see the infamous tuna auction toošŸ˜® This time around I got to visit kuromon market in Osaka and Nishiki market in Kyoto - both of which I thought were slightly better than Tsukiji! Kuromon market has all of the seafood and some of the stalls are the same as Tsukiji but with less crowds and actually cheaper in some instances! We left Tsukiji after 15 minutes of roaming because we couldnā€™t take the crowds and we already tried what we wanted to try in the other markets šŸ˜…. However if itā€™s your first time, itā€™s worth checking out at least once but recommend going early! If Anthony bourdain went, I will go toošŸ˜ @lotusofsiam has a couple of locations and was recommended to me a couple of times before my work trip to Vegas! The two dishes that everyone raves about are the garlic prawns and the khao soi. I got the khao soi with the braised short rib instead of the duck, and the meat was super tender! It was an extremely expensive lunch (~$90šŸ’€ but to be fair I couldā€™ve not gotten the braised short rib add on) for the two dishes and while it was good, I donā€™t know if Iā€™d call it the best Thai food Iā€™ve ever had for the price rangešŸ„². Definitely worth a visit if youā€™re going with a bigger group to share multiple dishes though! Osmanthus makgeolli milk tea is a flavor Iā€™ve never tried beforešŸ˜³šŸŒ¼ šŸ“ @curbsidebayside Itā€™s a small shop with a variety of interesting drink flavors. The two that caught my eye were the osmanthus makegeolli and taro mochi bobo drink. The osmanthus makegeolli was a bit floral because of the crushed up osmanthus but was good and not too sweet. It blended the flavors of makgeolli into the milk tea. I liked the taro mochi bobo because of the real taro puree, the texture of the mochi, and it wasnā€™t super sweet! Their fruit milk teas also looked really good and Iā€™ll definitely go back to try more in the future. They also offer a milk tea bucket with toppings if youā€™re looking to share šŸ˜® Follow @worldeatsjen for more nyc food recs! #nyceatssss #bubbleteashop #bubbletealover #bubbleteas #nycfoodie #nyceatstagram #nycdessert

Food costs that wonā€™t break the bank?? In this economy?? Take my moneyšŸ’³ Every dish was under $20 which is rare these daysšŸ¤Æ {invite}šŸ“ @jibeichuannoodles has several locations in nyc and they recently opened their newest location in edison, nj! Everything was tasty and if you like spicy food, this spot is for you! They specialize in their noodle soups where you can choose from a variety of soup bases with different meats. We tried: -supreme fish maw chicken soup with rice noodle: the chicken was super tender! -sauerkraut soup with fish slices and rice noodle: this soup base was flavorful and between the two soups I tried, preferred this soup base -dry tossed rice noodles with assorted beef sauce -pork dumplings -cucumber salad -woodear salad with garlic -brown sugar rice cake: these were deep fried mochis with warm brown sugar sauce inside! Insider Look: What itā€™s like to Eat a Pink Pineapple

As a self-proclaimed food blogger, some of my happiest moments stem from experiences with food, so it was no surprise that I was ecstatic when I was offered an amazing opportunity to taste theĀ Pinkglowā„¢ Pineapple by Fresh Del MonteĀ  before it is released to the public this year! Below youā€™ll be able to learn some fun facts about what makes the pineapple pink, how it tastes, and how it is grown. I canā€™t wait for you all to try it when it releases!

Best Things to Eat in Portland, ME 2020

Portland is a hot spot for those looking to get out of the NY, NJ, and CT tri-state area. I may or may not have had been subliminally influenced to go to Maine after watching countless Instagram stories of friends traveling away, scarfing down lobster rolls at every meal. However, scarfing down lobster rolls at every meal is exactly what I did when I travelled up to Maine, because where else would you get some of the freshest lobster on the East Coast? Be sure to check the quarantining rules before traveling to Maine if youā€™re residing outside of NY, NJ, and CT.

Cook with Me!:Shin Ramen and Jjapaguri Crusted Baked Chicken Wings

1 pack of chicken wings (or however many you want to cook) 3 large eggs (this depends on how many wings you will cook, but 3 eggs was more than enough to cover a pack of 12 wings) 1-2 packs of Shin Ramen (depending on how many wings you will cook) 1 pack of chicken wings (or however many you want to cook) 3 large eggs (this depends on how many wings you will cook, but 3 eggs was more than enough to cover a pack of 12 wings) 1 pack of Chapagetti (dependent on how many wings you will cook) 1 pack of Neoguri Itā€™s a 1 for 1 ratio of Chapagetti and Neoguri packs (e.g. adding 2 packs of Chapagetti equals 2 packs of Neoguri) 2. For each flavor of wings, use a food processor or blender (pulse setting works best) to crush the ramen and powdered seasoning together. Youā€™ll want to make sure the noodles are grinded together, but not too ground up where it becomes powder, as youā€™ll want to retain some of the dried ramen texture.

Strawberry Jam Matcha Chocolate Cups

2-3 tsp of matcha (depending how strong of a taste you like) 1. Add roughly a 1 tsp of matcha chocolate to each paper cup. Once the first layer of chocolate has hardened, take the tray out of the refrigerator and scoop a tsp of strawberry jam into each cup. Add in roughly 2 tsp of matcha chocolate to cover the strawberry jam and fill out the top layer
