I have been SUPER MIA on here. 2023 was one of the hardest years. On the outside it might have looked like “business was usual”. Mentally, emotionally and physically it was anything but…⁣ I lost some seriously amazing people. It always felt like I was merely treading water. Going from one fire to another hoping to put them all out. ⁣ I really tried my best to live in a constant state of “I’m fine” even though on the inside I was screaming the opposite. ⁣ I stopped writing, posting our travels and started to be super selective on work I accepted. I took a position at a local school & now work with kids daily. At first I thought I would drop this online business I built but instead it’s just sat dormant. Always hoping I would pick it back up….⁣ ⁣ I have been a roaming writer who’s lucky enough to call Western New York my home. After working for years at a printed publication, I came online. My writings have graced many places including the @huffpost! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Through my travels, I have met celebrities’, enjoyed movie premieres, made friends with other writers, worked with top of the line companies & even became a Certified Food Judge 👩‍⚖️ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It afforded my family countless memories, press trips I think fond of, allowed me to stay home during the pandemic. While I can’t promise I will post as heavy as I once did, I do miss posting. If you maybe have had the same rough year, let me know I’m not alone. If you are still here, thanks 🙏
