The Collector Inn is a boutique hotel consisting of several historic buildings located on a historic site. Located prominently on the shores of Matanzas Bay, Castillo de San Marcos is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States. Built as a Spanish fort in 1742 to guard the river inlet, Fort Matanzas is much smaller than Castillo de San Marcos but was just as important. Located across the street from Flagler College is the Lightner Museum which also started life as a hotel built by Henry Flagler.

Named in 1995 as one of the Historic Hotels of America , part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the King and Prince Beach Resort and Golf Club first opened in 1935 as a private dance club on the ocean front of St Simons Island in Georgia’s Golden Isles. Today the resort has 142 hotel rooms, that include the two oceanfront suites, 42 two and three bedroom villas and 5 resort residences ranging from one to five bedroom beachfront cottages, five swimming pools, clay tennis courts, and their fabulous golf course. The King and Prince offers 3 pools in the main pool area just outside the main building and right on the beach. The King and Prince Golf Club Home of the Hampton Club, is located 12.2 miles from the resort on the north end of the island.
