I am the mom of 6 humans, a dog, a bunny, and a hamster who loves to do Ninja tricks. I live a life to serve others and teach them the lessons that were so freely given to me. I was once in $40,000 worth of debt, facing foreclosure of my home, and had a car repossessed. I had to take a good look at my spending and in 2009 started to get out of debt. I paid off the debt in 2012. A few years prior, in 2010, I started I started a website to teach people how to save money like I was. This website has grown into one of the largest personal finance websites for women. I now travel across the country for National TV shows like the TODAY Show, Good Morning American, Dr. Oz, Rachael Ray, Nightline, and many more. My readers are busy moms who want to learn how to enjoy life on a budget. I love to teach practical meal planning and grocery saving tips + tips on how to save on electricity or vacations. I've been given free trips with my kids to talk about budget travel options. I am full of life and love to embrace it one day at a time!

I've worked as a spokesperson for the Flipp App, H&R Block, TD Bank,, Valpak and more.

I had a YouTube channel with over 2 million views and love to share money saving tips online. I love public speaking and am currently planning a retreat in September 2020. I love my kids and husband more than anything and any way I can include them in my work I can.

My youngest Abby is 7 yrs old now. When she was born I had already been blogging and making a full time income from home. . She doesn't know what it's like to have a mom who works outside of the house. . This picture was taken when she started climbing Whiteface mountain here in NY. Her dad and sisters took this 12 hour hike and impressed the heck out of us! . These kids of mine are my life! I want them to be taken care of if something were to happen to me. That is why I just updated my will. . My question to you is. Do you have a will? Are your kids taken care of after you pass away? . Not having an updated was keeping me up at night. I signed up for this program and for $25 I got it updated. Comment below and let me know if you want details on what program I used. I will send you a DM with details. . Peace of mind and a will can be the greatest gift to your family.

How to Get a Clear Vision of Your Finances

How To Get a Clear Vision of Your Finances Have you ever wondered how to get a clear vision of your finances so you could actually out of debt and realistically set a budget? Take a look at the minimum payments of your debts and make sure that you are able to pay those minimum payments every month. So even if you aren’t scraping by and have money left over in your budget, paying debts is where it needs to be going. Plan to pay extra in order to eliminate your debt; if you don’t have any more than the minimum payments, revisit your expense and see where you can trim again.

Sorry I've been MIA lately. Just soaking up the time with my kids! . Have only worn makeup 4 times in the past 4 months! Life has been so much simpler for us lately. . How is everyone doing?

What to do when you run out of money

This is extremely helpful when you have run out of money at the end of a pay cycle and won’t get paid for another week. If you tend to run out of food every month, make sure that next time you go shopping, buy these 10 things. By using this planner, move your bills around every month, week-to-week, this helps you easily see where most of your money is being spent every month. I bet you will start seeing that you were spending money on things that you didn’t need, and then wouldn’t have money to spend on those things you do need.

My favorite spot in my house.. . I don't sit here often, but its my fav. It seems to be the only place that does not get dirty. . No one throws things here or messes it up. . Do you have a place in your home that is like this? PS, my entire house is painted in this color. It's @sherwinwilliams Agreeable Gray! . . . #laurengreutman #homedecor #mom #momlife #mombudget #sherwinwilliams #comfort #homedecor #decorating #decor

The Truth About Your Credit Score

There are things that can help your credit score and things that can hurt your credit score. Having low debt and high income will help your score, while high debt and low income will hurt. Dave Ramsey famously calls the credit score a “debt score”, and to a point, he’s right. I view a credit score as more of a financial responsibility score.

🚨 I have an announcement - The time has come to say goodbye to The Personal Finance Planner :( Its been a good 6 years selling them but the time has come to say goodbye. . I have about 200 left and I am selling them for $20! . I love this planner and use it every day! I am sad to see it go but I know it is time. . If you want a planner (or four) hop on the sale because they are going fast. How to Use a Financial Bucket List to Help You Get Out of Debt

Get out of debt Get out of debt How to Use a Financial Bucket List to Help You Get Out of Debt I learned how to be resourceful and prioritize the things that I want in life, so during that time I created a financial bucket list to help keep me accountable. Make your financial bucket list, and find one thing on your bucket list to check off every year. I just know that when we were getting out of debt, the financial bucket list was one thing that helped me keep myself on track throughout the year, and it was something that both Mark and I were able to work on together.

Do you want free Christmas gifts this year? . Here is one strategy. Sign up for ANY reward program you can find at stores you can shop at. . When you spend money, they send you reward coupons. You use these reward coupons to buy Christmas presents. . My husband owns a construction business, so he is always at the hardware store. This is a great place to get these reward coupons! Actually, it is one of my favorite places to earn and spend rewards. . Today I took $75 in reward coupons and spent them on candles, batteries, Mrs Meyers cleaning supplies, and some gloves for stocking stuffers. I spent $3.61 out of pocket and now am on my way to starting my gift giving season. . If you want to learn more about how to stay out of debt this holiday season, click on the link in my profile to sign up for my 30 days to a debt free Christmas challenge! . Its totally free to take and it walks you through 30 days of videos and challenges! . Give me a ❤ if that sounds good and sign up! . . . . #christmas #debtfreechristmas #debtfreemama #laurengreutman #holidayshopping #frugal #frugalliving #debtfreeholiday

It's the little things in life that make me happy! . Like when your @aldiusa store gets back in their Disinfectant Wipes. . It was like Christmas! Before COVID started I used these every day. . It's been 7 months since I've had them, today we were reunited! Today was a good day! ❤ . . . #aldigram #ilovealdi #aldi #aldimealplans #aldifinds #frugalliving #frugal #aldiusa #aldihaul
