Forever getting lost in those narrow European streets ๐บ So for the past few weeks I have been living on the other side of the world (Argentina) which looks absolutely nothing like the culture & environment in which I grow up and got used to living in. Quite a change but hey, this is something I'll be remembering for the rest of my life. I won't lie, starting a life in a new country where you don't know anyone is not as magical as your TikTok feed might portray. There are days when you feel like everything makes sense, you feel liberated and there are days when you think 'what I am doing with my life??' (especially if I look at my Facebook feed). The key is to embrace it all because it's all part of the journey. Bad, good and medium. . . . #globalwanderer #letsflyawayto #igpassport #bestintravel #travelcaptures #travelanddestinations #theprettycities #beautifuldestinations #travelbug #letsgoeverywhere #passportpassion #worldwanderer #travelaholic #dailytravellers #wearewanderers #sheisnotlost #femmetravel #explorefrance #travelgirlsgo #girlsdreamtravel #discoverunder5k #girona #travelspain
The golden hour at Louvre is simply magical โจ๏ธ 2022 was challenging year, 2023 is about to be even more challenging and a tad bit more exciting because... I AM MOVING TO ARGENTINA! ๐ฆ๐ท Well, technically I am only moving there only for 5 months but I will be definitely making the most of it. South America has always been high on my travel list (TOP 1 being Machu Picchu ๐ค) and it feels a but surreal that it is finally happening. So moving forward you can expect lots of travel content from Argentina and hopefully other countries from South America ๐ If you have any tips, suggestions & recommendations for Argentina, please do share ๐ . . . #parislover #louvremuseum #parismood #parisianlifestyle #parisgram #letsflyawayto #igpassport #bestintravel #travelcaptures #travelanddestinations #theprettycities #beautifuldestinations #travelbug #letsgoeverywhere #dailytravellers #wearewanderers #sheisnotlost #femmetravel #visitfrance #explorefrance #travelgirlsgo #girlsdreamtravel #discoverunder5k
For me, 2022 was dedicated to learning how to embrace spontaneous travel. Ever since I discovered the love for travel, I became an avid planner. I would spend time researching destinations, crafting itineraries, maps with pins of places I needed to visit. While it is not a bad approach, it certainly puts figurative limitations on trips. Everything is planned and then there is little to no room for freedom, spontaneity. And lower chances of experiencing waves of anxiety that could result in a full blown panic attack. Not something you want to experience alone in a foreign country, trust me on that. Somehow (very much unconciously) 2022 turned to the year I started planning less and going more with the flow when it comes to travel. A weekend trip to Sweden? Let's go! Hey, I want to go to Paris, want to go? Sure, why not! I can't say that everything went smoothly or that I didn't feel anxious sometimes while sitting in a plane and having no clue what I will be doing for the next few days in a city 2000km away from home. But it felt good to experience the other side of travel. The one that takes you on unexpected adventures and creates a pleasant rush of excitement of not knowing how the day will turn. The year is not over but I think travels are done for the year. 8 countries and hundreds of incredible memories. Let's see what 2023 will bring. . . . #globalwanderer #letsflyawayto #igpassport #roamtheworld #bestintravel #travelcaptures #travelanddestinations #theprettycities #beautifuldestinations #travelbug #letsgoeverywhere #passportpassion #travelwithme #womenwhotravel #worldwanderer #finduslost #dailytravel #dailytravellers #wearewanderers #sheisnotlost #femmetravel #paris #visitfrance #explorefrance #travelgirlsgo #parisfrance #parisgram #topeuropephoto #discoverunder5k
Paris is always a good idea ๐ฅ๐ท When I booked a trip to Paris, I knew that this is going to be one of those cities that I'll either dislike a lot or fall in love instantly. Over the years being in a travellers & travel bloggers community I heard a lot of good and bad about this city, so I knew what I might be getting myself into ๐ I don't know if it's the fact that I was learning french for 2 years or the fact that I spent majority of my free time watching french movies, tv shows and checking damondominique account & YouTube for Paris content, but the city felt so familiar & a bit magical to me that I simply couldn't help but fall in love with Paris ๐ I loved the architecture, the culture, the language, the fashion, the busy roads and slight chaos of the streets. I didn't love the prices though... ๐ If you've been to Paris, was it a yes or no for you? ๐ . . . #guardiantravelsnaps #theprettycities #girlswhowander #sheisnotlost #travelling_europe #map_of_europe #thisisparis #parisienne #parismood #parislover #toureffeil๐ผ๐ซ๐ท #parisfrance #parisgram #parisphoto #postcardplaces #beautifuldestinations

Croatian countryside ๐ฟ When I first decided that I am going to move to Croatia for a few months, I genuinely didn't have high expectations. I have visited the country many years ago and I thought that I've already seen the most of what it had to offer. (Un)surprisingly, I was wrong. For having lived there for 4 months, I feel like I still have a lot to see and to explore in Croatia. From hiking trails in the mountain ranges to smallest islands and secluded wineyards. Croatia has its ups and downs but it is truly a beautiful country that you can spend months travelling around and still find something new and exciting that you haven't visited. I have a lot of places that I have never been to but desperately want to visit and I have a list of places that I have visited and would gladly return to again and again. Croatia is definitely going on the latter list. .... #croatiafulloflife #croatia #centraldalmatia #croatia_photography #croatia_instagram #croatiafullofmagic #croatia_postcards #topeuropephoto #croatiatravel #traveljunkie #creativeliving #countrysidephotography #rawallnature #ofquietmoments #photographycommunity #magicalwild #calmandquiet
Just me battling Croatian winds every time I try to take photos ๐ It's been a while since my last post, so breaking the ice after a long break with a lighthearted photo dump. To be completely honest, I didn't have a great start of 2022... And on top of everything, we are now dealing with the real war that is happening so close to my home and that is affecting millions of innocent people every single day. Looking through the past travel photos and videos is one of the ways I can turn my brain off just for a few minutes and remember the genuine feeling of happiness that I felt at that moment back in time. So, if any of you are struggling right now (whatever it might be), my dms are always open ๐ --- #guardiantravelsnaps #traveldeeper #travelstoke #optoutside #welivetoexplore #keepitwild #stayandwander #discoverglobe #doyoutravel #adventurewhatislife #travelblogger #girlsabroad #travelgirl #letsgoeverywhere #neverstopexploring #mytinyatlas #exploremore #globelletravels #unlimitedparadise #traveljunkie #lifewelltravelled #girlsthattravel
Photo dump of random shots from Palma that I took with my phone ๐ธ It's been a week since I got back from #Traverse21 and I'm still feeling inspired and overwhelmed by the genuine support & welcomeness of the travel community. It was my first ever big travel conference and I couldn't have asked for a better experience (well, maybe less rain next time? ๐๐). It was amazing to meet all the people from the industry that I knew from social media and those that I didn't know before, enjoy tapas and a few too many glasses of wine ๐ท๐ , to listen to inspiring talks & sessions, to learn new practices and to explore not only Palma but other locations in Mallorca as well ๐ช๐ธ I can't wait to see everyone again next year in Brno! ๐จ๐ฟ ... #VisitPalma #palma #visitspain #islasbaleares #balearicislands #palmademallorca #visitmallorca #spainvacations #stayandwander #beautifulcities #ig_spain #girlsdreamtravel #artandculture #travelling_europe #spainlove #spaintravel
The time I was living my best life traveling solo around Costa Rica ๐ฟ Although Costa Rica is quite a safe country in terms of solo female travel, I still got quite a few comments about it like: "Oh so you travelled all alone to here? By yourself?!" "You are so brave for coming here alone." "Aren't you scared that something might happen?" If it was a man in my place, no one would bat an eyelash at him traveling solo. And I hate it. I hate it that it's still a norm for women to be afraid of going out alone in the evenings. Sometimes all you want to do is go for an evening walk or watch a sunset without worrying that something could happen on your way back home. I hate it that we as women can't travel to certain areas because it is considered unsafe there for us. There are articles(!!!) about travel destination to which you should only go to with your boyfriend/husband. And I hate it the most that a lot of women choose not to travel just because all their life it has been portraited as something they should do only with someone else as a companion. Solo travel is definitely not for everyone. For one, you have to be comfortable being alone sometimes and if that's not something you particularly enjoy, that's ok. There are other ways you can travel. But if solo travel has crossed your mind at least once and you want to try it, go for it. Yes, take precausions, trust your gut, but don't stop yourself from having amazing experiences abroad just because your friends or anyone else thinks it's 'unsafe'. Solo female travel is not a new concept and a lot of women are doing it, so why can't it be you? Have you ever traveled solo? Love it or hate it? --- #costaricaisbeautiful #costarica #monteverde #centralamerica #visitcostarica #faceyourfears #girlslovetravel #dametraveller #wearetravelgirls #girlsthatwander #solofemaletravel #sheisnotlost #travelgirls
Ever just wanted to enjoying a glass of wine while sitting in a middle of a waterfall on a warm summer day? ๐ท On our roadtrip around Croatia, one of our stops was at Krka National Park where we accidently stumbled upon this authentic Croatian tavern located just on a way to Roลกki Slap ๐ญ๐ท It's called 'Alte Mรผhle Kristijan' and it was probably one of the top highlights of our roadtrip. The whole tavern has this rustic, old farmhouse feeling because owners have tried to preserve everything as much as possible, from old mill to beautiful water cascades ๐ Here you can taste homemade wine, delicious meat & cheese plate and bread for very affordable price. Plus, all wine and food is made by owners, so you can be sure you are having a fully authentic Croatian countryside experience ๐ฏ Of course, the highlight is the part where you can sit by the tables that stand in a shallow water by the waterfall. Perfect spot to refresh on a hot summer day! ๐ The owner was one of the kindest and friendliest people we met in Croatia. He gave a little tour of the old mill, explained how they make their own food, wine, and even gave us a free rakija tasting the moment he learned that we are from Lithuania ๐ Apparently, Lithuania isn't that unknown in this region. Thanks to our national basketball team & my city team ลฝalgiris ๐๐ฑ๐น So if you are planning to visit Krka national park, definitely make a stop at this tavern and experience the beauty of Croatian countryside ๐ฟ
To get to the city from MSY or Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (approximately 15 miles west of New Orleans), you might consider using the airport shuttle, which costs $24 per person one way and $44 per person for a round trip. If you are on the lookout for some of the best places to stay while in New Orleans, you should consider checking out these fantastic hotels; The Hotel Monteleone is a family-owned hotel that has been in operation since 1886. Canal Street Inn is a charming B&B located mid-city on Canal Street; it offers relatively easy access to streetcars. The hotel features prestigious parlors along with a garden terrace; it is also quiet and provides a homey experience after a tiresome day exploring this magnificent city.
If youโre looking for a bit more of Hungarian landscapes, culture and history, these day trip destinations within Hungary are just for you. But the best part of this day trip is that it combines almost everything Hungary is famous for โ wine, thermal baths and charming medieval castles. On your day trip from Budapest to Eger, you can visit the castle of Eger, see the famous Minaret, wander around Dobo square and the streets of the colourful old town. However, what Tapolca is most famous for is Tapolcaโs lake cave which is situated right in the heart of the town and is a part of 3km long underground cave system.
During recent years, Iโve been trying to transition into a more sustainable travel lifestyle and that involved not only the way I travel but what kind of destinations I am choosing to visit. People live in katuns, keep animals, grow vegetables and make their own food such as bread, milk, meat or even cheese which are vital parts of authentic Montenegrin cuisine. But in order to preserve this integral part of Montenegro, katuns started opening up for sustainable tourism initiative which allows travellers to visit katuns or even stay there for a couple of days and experience the katun lifestyle. Some of these experiences even offer hut-to-hut multi-day hiking adventures which I find incredibly charming and an authentic way to experience a foreign culture and to get to know locals.
