I’ve got over 30 classes complete @peachlabmi and not only am I seeing results but I am learning just how strong I am. But if I’m being honest that strength doesn’t come from within, it’s literally pulled out by the coaches there. Everytime I show up they encourage me to push myself harder and I continue to surprise myself. This Black History Month, I got the opportunity to volunteer at @generalmotors annual #GMAAN BHM event. This year it was held at the iconic @thewrightmuseum AND it celebrated the legendary costume designs from award winning creator, @therealruthecarter . When I say I was in absolute awe of her creative genius and impact on not just Black culture but American culture. As a fashion enthusiast, I loved seeing just how big someone who looks like me could dream and BE! Today and everyday, I’m so proud to be a powerful black girl 🖤 #iworkforgm #gmdrivesdei

The season I’m in is a bit chaotic, but I trust it won’t be for long. I just thank God for sending me really beautiful people to weather it with me ⛅️

I’ve been competing in pageants since 2012. Win or lose, I’ve always left everything I had on the stage and trusted God for the rest. I’ve always enjoyed the process and discipline necessary to become the best version of myself in preparation for each competition. Though, I’m done competing I knew I wasn’t done with the pageant industry, because of how absolutely thrilling it is for me. When asked what I wanted to do next I said “I want to be a judge”. I want to be a part of the next generation of pageant girls following their wildest queen dreams. I am ever so grateful @directorlauraclark asked me to do just that. I am proof that you have to speak your dreams out loud and trust that they will become your reality…and to do that alongside the absolute best people in the business was just the icing on the cake 👑

Needless to say our Annual Secret Santa Cousins Night was a success. It was 2000s themed and my girls didn’t miss 🎯. I know it was a vibe, because my sister texted me today and said and I quote 🗣️" I throw the best house parties” and I agree 😉🤭
