I came across a poem the other day that I really resonated with. I think it is supposed to be humorous, but I oddly found it to be eye-opening for a type A person like myself. It’s Dust if You Must by Rose Milligan — Dust if you must, but wouldn't it be better To paint a picture, or write a letter, Bake a cake, or plant a seed; Ponder the difference between want and need? Dust if you must, but there's not much time, With rivers to swim, and mountains to climb; Music to hear, and books to read; Friends to cherish, and life to lead. Dust if you must, but the world's out there With the sun in your eyes, and the wind in your hair; A flutter of snow, a shower of rain, This day will not come around again. Dust if you must, but bear in mind, Old age will come and it's not kind. And when you go (and go you must) You, yourself, will make more dust.

Getting all settled in at our new home-base! ♡

Here’s how we’ve been spending some of our #quarantine time. 🧩 I currently work as an RN so my routine hasn’t changed too much yet...work is a little different. Even though I work on a medical psychiatric floor, we now have to wear masks for our entire shift at work & are a little more paranoid about the slightest increase in temperature or cough. It’s a weird time to be alive & I pray things start to normalize soon. I’m curious - how are you passing your time at home? Also, for all my tiny house/RV people, are you going stir crazy yet??

Although I’m not perfect with it, finding plant based products that I love help a ton! @GoMacro bars are practically dessert bars except they have loads of protein & all natural ingredients. They have a ton of different flavors - including their newest one, Smooth Sanctuary (my personal favorite), that has double chocolate and peanut butter chips.
