🌸 Spring is in the air again, and I can tell because my favourite tree is cascading with white petals. I've been a bit quiet on Instagram (breakup, cold winter, Twitter addiction), but with sunnier days come more photos, so here I come, summer!
🦶 Foot, meet mouth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have a tendency to identify people's weird quirks straight up, usually because I LOVE weird and wonderful things about people. Unfortunately, not everyone takes that as a compliment. 😂
I love secondhand shops for all the eclectic things you can find, but I'm also a sucker for colourful and unique... like these adorable earrings by @ClayAndLittlePoly I picked up at @madewithlovetoowoomba recently.
Last week, my husband and I decided to separate. Not a decision I saw myself making, even a year ago, but we all live and learn, and experience things at the right time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Right now, things are a little overwhelming, but I'm sure that with patience, this will be another lesson, too,
🌸 As we go into winter here in Australia, I'm really missing the warmth and flowers.
It's funny how no matter how much you think you've matured as you age, one small thing can end up in an emotional flashback and you forget everything you've learned.
I spend more time thinking about my writing, putting off my writing, making 2am notes about my writing and taking photos of my writing... than actually getting in there and doing my writing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ BRB... I'm going to go work on my writing and stop procrastinating. Maybe.
When you live something everyday, it becomes your normal. Sometimes it's easy to forget that your life isn't as normal as it feels in the moment.

I don't know about you, but my inner critic is the worst person in my life. Sure, that means I'm always pushed to do better, but that's never enough for the inner critic. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "You did one thing wrong."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "That's not as good as someone with twice as much experience."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "I can't believe you said that one thing wrong in that amazing speech."
🌈 What are your dreams? I recently did a vision board workshop with @ten.thousand.dreams and realised something - all my goals are work and career related, but I really need to expand into personal and family goals as well!
