If you're a creator looking to grow and attract more opportunities, it is essential that you have these things in your bio. This goes for both IG and TikTok! Somebody has to say it… Your millennial pause is ruining your content! What is ‘millennial pause’ you might be asking? The term was coined on TikTok back in 2021 to refer to the silence before someone starts speaking at the beginning of a video. Now, why does this matter? ✨ Again, somebody has to say it. It’s awkward. I’m sorry! I don’t know about you, but I scroll past it every time. ✨ If I’m scrolling past your pause, someone else is too. The algorithm is now registering that your content is worth scrolling past. ✨ While a 2-3 second pause at the beginning of your video may seem like nothing, every second of your audience’s attention is precious! Someone might watch past it the first time, but if you have multiple clips of you speaking, that’s multiple seconds each time you’re taking your audience away from the value you have to offer.
