So here’s a recipe for you and yours to enjoy this holiday season     INGREDIENTS:   2 oz spruce-infused gin   1/4 oz allspice dram   1 oz lemon juice  3/4 oz festive cranberry syrup  1/4 oz orgeat  1 medium egg white  Soda water   Garnish: fresh cranberry     DIRECTIONS:  Combine all ingredients except the soda water in a shaker and dry-shake without ice for 8-10 seconds. Add a large ice cube and shake very well. Double strain into a glass and top with soda water. Swizzle together using a lele/barspoon. [𝚂𝚝𝚒𝚕𝚕] 𝙽𝚎𝚎𝚍𝚜 𝚊 𝙽𝚊𝚖𝚎    Apparently every time we get our hands on a cool new mug (this one from @mortar_and_stone) we make this concoction. It features Rum Fire, so the funk is strong, and a bit of Yellow Chartreuse, honey, and citrus that really brings it all together.     Buuuut we [still] don’t have a name for the drink, and we [still] need your help! Keep the recs coming ⬇️⬇️⬇️    INGREDIENTS:   Orange wheel  1 oz white overproof rum  1/2 oz yellow chartreuse  1/4 oz dry curaçao   3/4 oz lime juice  3/4 oz honey syrup  2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters  Garnish: fresh grated nutmeg, orange     DIRECTIONS:  Muddle the orange wheel with the bitters, syrup, and lime juice in a shaker. Add the remaining ingredients plus ice and shake well. Strain into a mug of your choosing and top with ice. Petty Crime    We’re still going bananas for this cocktail 🍌    If you’re looking for something that showcases fernet without overpowering everything else, shake one up stat.     For this recipe, we used Faccia Brutto which works wonderfully. It’s a bit more mellow than Fernet Branca…so if you’re rolling with FB, dial it down to 1/2 oz.     Cheers!    INGREDIENTS:   1 oz Smith & Cross   3/4 oz fernet  1/2 oz banana liqueur   3/4 oz lime juice  1/2 oz orgeat  Garnish: mint sprig     DIRECTIONS:  Combine the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well. Combine the mixture and the remaining ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a glass and top with ice. Add garnish.
