Feeling like I never want to leave Florida! We have been having a blast!! We have been getting good use out of our gifts from @beadsprout! The mask lanyards for my 2 older kids have been amazing. They would have lost their masks a million times at Disney World, and they are so cute and even have their initials on them! Adding a new baby to the family means adding about 300 loads of laundry each week! Going on an outing with 3 kids can be a lot!! You need all the things!! Super vulnerable post today..... This picture is from the day I was discharged from the hospital, leaving Shade behind, and driving home an hour away. When I took this picture I was sure I would never share it, I’m wasn’t even sure why I took this picture. Now looking back I’m glad I did. In that moment nothing was ok, and I was pretty sure that nothing would ever be ok again. I was still recovering from an emergency c-section and multiple blood transfusions and Shade was 4 days old and we did not know what his future looked like. I’m still not sure how I got the strength to walk out of that hospital. I’m certain without Chris there to basically carry me out I probably would not have made it. But this picture of me ugly crying is my forever reminder that when you feel like you can’t go on, that you won’t ever smile again, and nothing is ok.... somehow you if you can find the strength to keep going you will find happiness again. Driving home that day nothing felt right happy music made me cry, sad music made me cry, I thought maybe I could never listen to music again. Now I make sure every day to listen to music and dance with my sweet baby and appreciate the miracle of him being in my arms. There isn’t much cuter than a baby at bath time! Shade is loving his new tub from @bybabypatent! He loves to kick and splash!
