I’ve never actually shared the drink I actually pour most for myself at home (other than Old Fashioned’s).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •••⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That drink is just an amaro on the rocks. It’s friggin tasty, normally low abv, fits all my moods, it’s my go-to. If I’m feeling saucy I’ll throw in fresh herbs or citrus slices, but here are the amari I pour on the rocks often.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •••⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Santa Maria al Monte⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Braulio⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Amaro Montenegro⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Averna ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Caffè Amaro⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Amico Amaro⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Cynar and Cynar70⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Jägermeister⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Fernet Branca⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Southern Amaro⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •••⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You don’t need ice or herbs or citrus, but that’s just how I enjoy it. Cheers and stay saucy ✌🏻

Spring Old Fashioned⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •••⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Not the typical flavors you'd find in an stirred cocktail with bourbon, but here we go. Inspired by @sjberto, he used @chareauspirit and lavender bitters along with bourbon to create a floral expression of the classic. I'm adding in a little honey syrup to go along with it as well as using @michterswhiskey 10yr Bourbon. Yes, I normally just sip this bottle neat, but lets get weird with it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •••⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2 oz @michterswhiskey 10yr Bourbon⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1/4 oz @chareauspirit⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 tsp honey syrup⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2 dashes lavender bitters⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ lemon oil⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ garnish: lemon peel with flowers⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •••⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Hope ya dig and stay saucy

Normally I’ll just drink the @michterswhiskey 10yr Bourbon neat 🥃, but making something special. Gonna post the recipe on the coming days, peace ✌🏻⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •••⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ denim jacket: @billy_reid

Smoked Autumn Old Fashioned ••• Smoking cocktails aren’t necessarily my jam, I just wanted to do this shot. I do think smoked cocktails can be delicious, but normally I’m good without it. Anyway here’s a smoked Autumn Old Fashiond which uses some cedar smoke. It looks dope and I think it tastes dope too 🤙🏻 ••• 1 oz rye whiskey 1 oz Calvados 1/4 oz maple syrup 1 tsp Fernet Branca 2 dashes chocolate bitters orange oil garnish: cedar smoked glass and orange peel ••• Hope ya dig and stay saucy ✌🏻

S&S Margarita ••• Here’s my personal go-to margarita recipe. Normally I just shake and dump all the contents into a glass, why use fresh ice when I’m gonna chug it? But this is insta, so I dressed it up. Also I go no salt, but this was for Kenna so she gets chili lime salt. But that Mezcal/Piloncillo combo is unreal. ••• 2 oz mezcal 1/2 oz lime juice 1/2 oz piloncillo syrup garnish: lime wheel and chili salt (optional) ••• Hope ya dig and stay saucy 🤙🏻

You don’t need clear ice to make good cocktails at home, but if you can... 🧊 undoubtedly worth it to me. ••• If you’re doing the cooler/freezer way of making clear ice, @cocktailkingdom has some knives to help ya out. Right here I’m using the Nakiri Pakkawood to score the block to get it lookin purty. They have a bunch others with specific purposes so check them out. ••• Then again clear ice isnt really needed, but all the cool kids do it so it’s up to you.

Rosa is the Word ••• Working with some @codigo1530 Rosa Tequila, let’s go with a Last Word. To pair it with the Cabernet barrel finished tequila, I’m swapping in some Mayan honey/herbal liqueur and adding in a couple dashes of celery bitters. Classic like a Last Word, but fit for tequila. Rosa is the Word. ••• 3/4 oz @codigo1530 Rosa Tequila 3/4 oz Green Chartreuse 3/4 oz D’Aristi Xtabentun 3/4 oz lime juice 2 dashes celery bitters garnish: brandied cherry ••• Hope ya dig and stay saucy ✌🏻

50/50 Rye & Dubonnet Manhattan ••• Cold weather on the horizon, time to bring out the Manhattans. Also time to bring out the elbow-patch sweaters, like this guy from @bespokepost by Line of Trade. Keep any eye out for this in the next boxes coming out. In the meantime, grab a Manhattan. ••• 1 1/2 oz rye whiskey (@michterswhiskey) 1 1/2 oz Dubonnet 1 dash Angostura bitters 3 dashes Coco Blast garnish: brandied cherry glassware: @cocktailkingdom ••• Hope ya dig and stay saucy 🤙🏻

eye and face protection required. ••• @barrelageddad egged me on to do another one of these, but along with this one I got more #hitmewithyourzestshot pics in the queue. ••• And surprise surprise, Shake & Stehr made another Old Fashioned. ••• 1 oz bonded bourbon 1 oz Guyana Demerara Rum 1 tsp cinnamon syrup 2 dashes Angostura bitters orange oil garnish: orange peel ••• Hope ya dig and stay saucy ✌🏻

Pegu Club ••• It’s a classic that’s often forgotten. In the sidecar family, was invented in Burma, the Pegu Club can fit any mood ya have. I tend to lean towards @davidlebovitz specs with a little less citrus and a little more sweetness. ••• 2 oz London Dry Gin 3/4 oz Dry Curaçao (@pierreferrandpf) 1/2 oz lime juice 1 tsp simple syrup 1 dash Angostura bitters no garnish ••• hope ya dig and stay saucy ✌🏻

Mershaq ••• It’s an OG cocktail of mine (any truers in here?) and one that can be stretched as a Negroni. Instead of vermouth, let’s throw in some Mexican cold brew and apricot liqueur. Made this for my buddy Mershaq who loves rum and needed a pickmeup. 50% mermaid, 50% Shaquille O’Neal, 100% pretty cool. ••• 1 1/2 oz @santateresarum 1/2 oz apricot liqueur (@giffardusa) 1/2 oz Campari (@campariusa) 1/2 oz Mexican cold brew coffee 2 dashes mole bitters garnish: dehydrated apricot ••• Hope ya dig and stay saucy 🤙🏻

#Negroni week is coming to an end, but I got another Negroni-ish drink coming up. Stay tuned and hoped y’all digged some of these recipes 🤙🏻 ••• western snap shirt: @billy_reid

Donna Reed by @littlepinagirl ••• Still doing #negroniweek, and this is my favorite Negroni riff that I alluded to earlier. The Donna Reed by Sarah Morissey is a Negroni riff with coconut liqueur, but it’s served with a sidecar of champagne. Ya sign me the hell up. ••• 1 oz gin (@plymouthginus$ 1 oz Campari (@campariusa) 1/4 oz Carpano Antica 1/4 oz coconut liqueur grapefruit oil garnish: grapefruit peel and a sidecar of champagne ••• When I say it’s my favorite I mean it. I used to batch this all the time and I’m about to again. Hope ya dig and stay saucy 🤙🏻

Midnight Marauder by @simojoaquin ••• Still #negroniweek so let’s keep em coming. A spin on the classic, Joaquin goes with the Mezcal /Cynar pairing (one of my favorites) along with Bonal for his Midnight Marauder. Simple and delicious. I felt saucy, so I served it in those badass @rec_etch Nick & Nora glasses. Spotted the recipe on @punch_drink. ••• 1 oz mezcal (@delmagueymezcal Vida) 1 oz Bonal 1 oz Cynar (@cynarusa) 1 dash mole bitters (@bittermens) ••• No garnish needed. Hope ya dig and stay saucy 🤙🏻

Banana Boulevardier ••• I think Boulevardiers are fair game for #negroniweek. If you saw my post yesterday, you’ll see know that I was talking about a Banana Boulevardier. I make it a ton at home and they’re absolutely delicious. There’s a bunch of renditions, but I stick with the recipe from one of my favorite hometown bars, @anvilhouston. ••• 1 oz bourbon 1 oz sweet vermouth 1/2 oz Campari (@campariusa) 1/2 oz Banane du Bresil (@giffardusa) orange oil garnish: orange peel ••• Hope ya dig and stay saucy 🤙🏻
