📍 San Antonio photo dump // notanad just really enjoyed the overall vibe at Hotel Havana. Sorry for the few blurry pics, those are the best times 😄 The hotel was a key part of our Spring Break visit to San Antonio- they are pet friendly for a very reasonable pet fee so 🐾 Hank was able to come along with us instead of being boarded. The extra time together {and walks along the Riverwalk} made it all extra special for us and him. The restaurant at Ocho is 🧑🍳🤌🏼 we each got different entrees, tried each others and enjoyed them all. Wish we could’ve tried the chicharron appetizer, but they weren’t available that evening. I’d say dinner here is a must if you are visiting San Antonio, Texas. I am looking forward to trying their brunch sometime! 🍴 The candlelit basement bar gives dark moody sexy speakeasy vibes. My dress is actually pink but the lighting made it red, not mad about it. ❤️🔥

When in San Antonio, Texas you must visit the Alamo. We opted for the self-guided tour with ticket to the Alamo Exhibition. We took home an acorn from the site (as suggested on the audio tour) to populate our area with one of the oaks from the Alamo. 🌱 Cheap or FREE Trip Tip 🌟 The church and the square/courtyard are both free for the public to visit at the Alamo, just get a complimentary admission ticket for each person in your group at the red welcome booth! You may also get a self-guided audio tour device for only $10, I don’t see why you couldn’t share the Related: family friendly activities to do with kids in #sanantonio #texastrip #thealamo
🌟Best Donut shop I’ve found since moving to Texas 7 years ago. It’s the one that locals are loyal to. Honestly it’s the only one around that compares to the Cambodian owned shops I grew up with in SoCal. IYKYK Ozzie and I sometimes accidentally call @bonniesdonut the same name as our favorite donut shop back home, in fact, it happened when we pulled up to Bonnie’s yesterday! 😆 It feels like home?? I would share them more often but we’re always too excited and hungry for donuts and kolaches that we eat them up before I can grab a pic 😋 Also found on my camera roll- the custom lettered birthday donuts we ordered for James’s last bday. We welcomed in the New Year at @karbachbrewing family (and dog) friendly #LNY and anime @otakufoodfestival this past weekend. Luckily, we scored front row seats to the lion dance which was so cool to experience together! So obviously this needed a permanent spot on the feed. Have you been ice bath curious too??🙋🏻♀️ I’ll try just about anything so sign me up for ★ better mental focus and clarity ★ mood boosting ★ pain and inflammation reduction I took the plunge knowing that it is good for us to feel and move through discomfort. I’d love to hear your experience if you’ve done cold plunges/ice baths for wellness or for sports therapy. Day 1 - 4 minutes - Immediately upon settling into the cold tub, I noticed our dragon fruit plant (which stands about as tall as I do) was knocked over. Aaaand the realization that I can’t just pick it up because I’ve committed to 4 minutes of being still, finding zen or something like that. That moment was a real exercise in letting go of what you cannot immediately control. It must wait. It. can. wait. 😌 Also, add more ice next time.
Learn how to open a coconut in 60 seconds using only a kitchen knife! 🥥 🔊#asmrfoodsounds #learnsomethingeveryday This is the easiest way I’ve ever found to open a young coconut (and I’ve struggled…) All you need is a standard kitchen knife with a sturdy heel! Start by shaving away some of the fibrous rind from the coconut until the top third of the hard brown shell is exposed. Then, using the heel of the knife- the pointy part towards the very back of the knife where it meets the handle- firmly strike the coconut, striking in dotted line, forming ring around the top. Each whack helps the cap crack off. Eventually, you’ll crack it enough to be able to lift and detach a round flap off of the top. Put a little lime on the coconut and enjoy!

So, your favorite carnival food can come to life in your own kitchen, and you can have air fried Oreo cookies in minutes! still suped-up chocolate and vanilla cream cookies, but they’re a little bit better for you, cooked with just a spritz of oil in the airfryer to prevent sticking. Place Oreos seam side down and air fry for 4 minutes (check at 3 minutes) or until golden brown. Okay, we were actually making this while waiting for our 3-year-old to finish pushing food around her plate… but the point is, it came together quick and easy!

I’ll walk you through what we’re looking for, and how to get your true skin tone to show up in the photo so you can get matched to the correct shade!
I prefer a very uniform texture, so even though I’m starting with ground pork, I run all filling ingredients except the carrots and bean thread noodles through my Kitchen Aid meat grinder attachment on fine cut a couple times until everything is well incorporated. Then, she took the ground meat and sat on the kitchen floor with a cutting board and meat cleaver (she claimed this was easier on her back) and sat chopping up the ground meat mixture by hand. You can simply dip these in your favorite sweet and sour sauce, just like a Chinese egg roll (typically cabbage based) or prepare some Vietnamese nuoc cham (dipping sauce) the cornerstone of Vietnamese cuisine. With limited supplies on hand during this stay at home order, I substituted the Serrano chile for 1 tsp garlic chile paste in the dipping sauce.

Reusable makeup pads DAMPEN and wring out a makeup pad the reusable alternative to cotton rounds, This is a plastic item, but it doubles the life of a bottle of Dream Clean Cleanser by whipping a single drop into a luxurious foamy lather.
