SayBellaLuxe is a online women's clothier, specializing in new and affordable Boho designers, paired with tried and true luxury brands, such as Prada and Versace. The start up was inspired by my 15 years old daughters love of fashion and design. My daughter, Sayde and I pick out 8-10 new items a week to add to the site. Our desire is to create a brand that fulfills a women's want for adventure and beauty while not breaking the bank.

Fashion Innovation: Sustainable Clothes

Our carbon footprint is left in the air just by driving our cars, even more so every time those brand new shoes come out of the factory, or even when the newest dyes are made for your favorite dress. In the same way we recycle plastic bottles and the like, sustainable clothing is made by recycling old clothes. You may have seen Converse’s Renew Line, bringing back all our favorite classic Chucks made completely out of recycled textiles and plastics, available in green, white, and yellow in a nod to traditional recycling campaigns. With major companies tuning into this newest innovation, shoppers can expect multitudes of recycled, good-for-the-Earth clothing options hitting the racks of their favorite stores in the coming years.

What is BoHo fashion ?

Different kinds of fashion typically have strong roots in a particular culture or subculture, and Bohemian fashion is an excellent example of that fact. Today, if you type “BoHo apparel” or “BoHo fashion” into a search engine, what you’re most likely to come up with is actually clothing and images that resemble a BoHo chic look, which is an updated take on original BoHo fashion that has been popularized by many celebrities including Mary Kate Olsen, Florence Welch, Vanessa Hudgens, and Sienna Miller. Though being Bohemian wasn’t necessarily about fashion way back in the day, a particular look was always somewhat tied to the term; the poverty that creative types in France faced in the 19th century influenced their apparel. Classic bohemian style continues to influence modern BoHo apparel today, but it’s now most reminiscent of the boho-chic look that became popular in the 1960s.
