The end of an era 🥹 - 3 weeks ago today I received a job offer that would change my life & on Monday I start my new job - I have SO many words but will try & keep it short and sweet - after 8 wild wonderful years at Hannaford Pharmacy I am so thankful for all of the people that I have met along with the way and connections that I have made with both my coworkers and patients. After 2.5 years at Forest Ave as their intern, 1 year in Windham as their intern, 1.5 years of floating, and 1 year in Sanford, I was offered one of my dream positions at Hannafords - a staff position at the Yarmouth location! Fast forward two years and now I am leaving retail for another dream. While I loved my job as a retail pharmacist, so much has changed over the past 8 years and I am extremely excited to step into a new position as a clinical pharmacist at MaineHealth in their Home Delivery department. Thank you to everyone who has made the last 8 years amazing and here’s to my next adventure 🤗

I have to admit I’ve missed it but also haven’t been super driven to blog lately {unfortunately}. Life has been a little crazy with work and moving and blah blah blah. My goal is normally to spend $20 or less on my denim and these sales are making it easy to stick right in that range. I saw this sale originally featured on Dress Up Buttercup’s insta and couldn’t help but purchase a few items myself. I’ve now purchased three pairs of glasses ($135.13 total for the 3 glasses) through the website after spending over $500 on Kate Spade ones at my eye doctor’s office. All you need to know in order to order prescription lenses from Zenni is a few simple pieces of information from your eye doctor (for mine I just needed to know my left eye, right eye, and PD). like me and only need glasses for distance or when driving then the option to have prescription sunglasses lenses is a huge advantage. They have a lot of stylish, classy, and trendy options but my favorite ones are the ones that have the magnetic sunglass lenses.
If so, I have a little secret to tell you…there’s a new company in Southern Maine here to help you have a fun, trendy, and unique event! The three business partners just started accepting rental reservations this winter and I predict that they’ll book up super fast. There are three different rental options depending on whether or not you want to hire a bartender separately and four different beverage packages depending on whether or not you want to have an open bar, a bar stocked with only beer & wine, etc. One of the other highlights that I can’t forget to mention is the LED lights that line the trailer can be set to a certain color or set to light-up to the beat of a song…
I feel like it’s somewhat okay to post about my Christmas tree! As much as I love the tradition that comes along with cutting down a live tree {my family went to Merry Christmas Tree on River Rd in Windham ever since I can remember} we want to stick with a fake tree because they’re easier and the most cost-effective option. I actually just found a 7-foot King of Christmas flocked unlit tree with an almost perfect rating on Amazon for $160 which is an amazing deal! That way you can use it throughout the year and it’s not sitting in a clear plastic tote taking up space in your storage area for 10 – 11 months out of the year.
