Finished my latest thrift flip! (Well actually I found this in my parent's basement) I took this light sconce and made it into a plant shelf for the wall. It stinks I only found one - I can picture it looking awesome as a grouping. I debated keeping it the orignial brass color, but ultimately ended up painting it black. I also stained the wooden details to bring them back to life. Now we wait and see just how strong this glue is 😬

I always find wooden candle sconces at the thrift stores, so I have collected several over the last few years. I took a pair out of my storage unit last month and finally finished turning them into this! I'm loving the combination of @Rustoleum Slate Blue and Metallic Copper. If you try something like this, make sure you place them in a safe spot where someone won't accidently knock your plant off walking by!
