Y’all, I am so lucky. So so sooooooo lucky. Not only did I get to spend a week hiking and adventuring through Patagonia on my most recent TrovaTrip…I got to do it with the most kick-@$$ group of people! I’m repeatedly amazed that a randomly assembled group of my followers can be so fun, and cool, and kind, and brave, and adventurous. I couldn’t possibly be prouder of the fact that when you randomly snatch people from my community of followers and make them travel the world together they immediately become a cohesive unit laughing together, pushing their limits together, and supporting each other. No to mention their willingness to film a dance reel in the rain! 😂 Isn’t “hopper” adorable?! 😍 I’m sooooo grateful to have the opportunity to facilitate people getting out of their comfort zones to do adventurous hard things, meet new people, and explore the planet. Wow…the ridiculous beauty of this place is…..overwhelming. 😳 Yesterday, after a rough climb into the Andes we turned a corner and BAM! …we were greeted with this view. There aren’t photos on earth that accurately convey the beauty and magnitude of Fitz Roy….unless these photos made you awkwardly start trying to hold back tears. 🤣😇 Also overwhelming are the feelings of gratitude and an awareness for how absurdly lucky I am to be able to experience this. #Uinta Mountains….I’m coming for you! Soooo…I’m thinking about doing a thru-hike of the Uintas Highline Trail this summer not once….but twice. It’s a 104 mile trail through the Uinta Mountains, known for their particularly unexpected and intense summer storms because of their rare East-west geography and for being over 10,000’ the entire trail.
