Low FODMAP recipes and inspiration low in wheat, lactose, fructose no onion or garlic happy gut/happy life 💛 E-BOOK OUT NOW
None Add the coconut milk and spice mixture to a large pot and combine with the veggie/chicken broth None Reduce heat to a simmer and add in tofu triangles, chopped carrot and bean curd strips None Let cook for 10 minutes or until carrot has softened None Remove from heat, spoon soup over rice noodles, and top with chopped spring onion, coriander and lime wedge
Drain the tofu, and add to a blender/food processor along with all other ingredients (garlic infused oil, smoked paprika, nutritional yeast, salt, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper). Blend until well combined. You may need to add 1-2 tbsp of water to help it blend and thin it out, though you don't want the dip to be too watery in consistency
Equally as important, you don’t want any chunks of pumpkin as the gnocchi dough will need to be as smooth as possible (pick out any visible pieces of solid pumpkin). Dust a flat surface with gluten-free flour, and then start to combine all of the mashed pumpkin with the remaining flour until a dough is formed Continue to knead until no loose flour remains (you may need to add more flour if the dough is still sticky). Continue to cook until sage starts to fry/crisp, then add in a few tbsps of the reserved water (to thin out the sauce)

CREAMY THAI COCONUT NOODLES ✨🌱 (low fodmap, vegan, gf) and one of my FAVVV recipes from my e-book ‘The Beginner’s Guide to the Low FODMAP Diet’ with 50+ low fodmap recipes and meal ideas (all of which are either vegan or provide an vegan alternative) - also includes a comprehensive list of low/high fodmap foods and flavour hacks for replicating onion and garlic flavours🥰 to check it out, visit the link in my bio 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼 and as always, my DMs are open to have any questions you might have! ☺️
TACO SALAD WITH MUSHROOM/QUINOA “MEAT” AND CILANTRO LIME DRESSING 🌮✨🌱 (low fodmap, vegan, gluten free, nut free) - here’s me spending 15 minutes trying to think of a clever taco tuesday caption only to realize its wednesday 😂where has the week gone? 😱 this taco salad turned out so fresh, crunchy and filling! the “meat” is a great soy-free meat substitute and is so easy to make ♥️ while this recipe does contain corn and avocado (typically higher in fodmaps), it only contains a fodmap safe portion each 🤗 remember, its low fodmap not no fodmap! diversity is key for a healthy and balanced gut microbiome ✨
HAPPY BANK HOL! ☀️ here’s some tiny pancakes for your eyeballs 👀 anyone else falling for all of these tik tok trends?? these were delicious but took soooo long to fry 😂 i used my pancake recipe (from my e-book!) and added droplets of batter to a large skillet greased with vegan butter over low heat 😍 topped with real canadian maple syrup to cure some serious homesickness 🇨🇦 🍁
GLUTEN FREE & VEGAN CHEESE BUNS 🌱(low fodmap, gf, vegan) i used @gfblogger ‘s 3 ingredient dough ball recipe, but used plain almond yogurt in place of regular yogurt, stuffed them with @kokodairyfree vegan cheese and brushed them with garlic infused oil when hot out of the oven 🤩 topped with chopped basil and sprinkled with my 2 ingredient vegan parmesan recipe (can be found on my blog)!
STICKY PEANUT TEMPEH BOWL 🥢(low fodmap, vegan, gluten free) - have you tried tempeh? it’s one of my favourite vegan proteins and has such a nice dense “meaty’ texture which a lot of people prefer to tofu! the key to good tempeh is to steam the tempeh before cooking with it - this removes the “bitter” taste from the fermentation/preservation process that scares a lot of people off 🤗 Served with rice, salad, julienned carrot, cucumber ribbons, sliced radish, and topped with spring onion and sesame seeds 🥜♥️ recipe on the blog! LINK IN BIO 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼
VEGAN EGG 🌱🍳 (low fodmap, gluten free) i have yet to find a vegan egg recipe that is low fodmap as mostly all of them call for either chickpea flour or mungbean flour, so i made my own! this recipe works for either small egg patties or a vegan omelette 💚 pictured served on fresh gluten-free sourdough with vegan cheese and rocket 😍 recipe is up on the blog! Sitting down for a meal in a real life restaurant?! 😍 never did i think this would be a major milestone of 2020 😂 We temporarily moved to Bristol just before the lockdown, so never got to experience all that it has to offer in terms of food.. very excited to knock off all of my bucket list restaurants in the few weeks we have left in this amazing city! Pictured is a gluten free vegetarian pizza and fritto misto in a seaweed bread boat 🍕🌱
FRIED JACKFRUIT “CHICKEN” 🌱🍗 (low fodmap, vegan, gluten free) - this crispy, savoury fried jackfruit is great on its own (topped with spring onion and sesame seeds) or served up in a sandwich! this one is on a sourdough bun with mayo, lettuce, shredded carrot and shredded red cabbage for some mega sandwich goals 😍 recipe is up on the blog - LINK IN BIO 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼
