[save] cooking classes > the club This tour in La Fortuna started with a private transfer from our Airbnb to the cooking class location. This was such a fun experience and the perfect bonding time with my girls. I’m not a going-out person so I felt like this gave us that experience without getting too outside of my comfort zone I always recommend having a cooking class on any trip itinerary because it’s one of the best introductions to a country’s cuisine. With over 25 thermal water pools, Baldi Hot Springs is the perfect place to relax in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. They have swim up bars, water slides, and so many hot and cold pools. A regular day pass to the resort is $27 for nationals of Costa Rica and $44 for tourists. We did a day pass that included lunch and dinner and we booked this through our Airbnb hosts. You can book this package online through baldis website for $71 per person. You can basically stay the entire day! Since we were a group, I was told Baldi would be a great place for us to visit together, but we also eyed a few other hot springs including the springs resort, tabacon, and eco termales. The Bachelorette trip was a success because I was surrounded by the world's greatest human beings whom I love with my entire being. Costa Rica, specifically La Fortuna, served as the perfect backdrop for our trip. We woke up to the Arenal volcano every day, at a lot of gallo pinto, and got off the beaten path for sure. And I only forced them to do like 2 TikToks. 5 tips on turbulence for nervous flyers from commenters: (Because @skyscanner has all the flight deals, and I want you to take them without feeling too nervous #skyscanneradvocate) 1. As said in the video, lift your arms and legs during turbulence. It makes the experience feel like you’re floating and I felt way more calm when I did this. 2. Look at the flight attendants during turbulence, it’s a great assurance that you have nothing to worry about! 3 Place a drink or your water bottle on your tray table, and watch it during turbulence. You’ll notice that the plane feels like it’s shaking a lot, but your drink isn’t! 4. Visualize turbulence like your plane going over potholes, or a boat going over waves. A little shake doesn’t stop the show! 5. Remember that commercial air travel is one of the safest forms of transportation that exists! I hope these were helpful!
