RECIPE: Gnocchi ingredients: 2 cups chickpea flour 1 cup cassava flour 1 tsp of Spice Islands® Rubbed Sage 2 tbsp cornstarch for dusting 1 tsp of Himalayan salt or more after taste 1/2 tsp black pepper Ingredients for sautéing the Pumpkin Gnocchi 1 tbsp butter 1/2 tsp Spice Islands Rubbed Sage 1 tsp Spice Islands Thyme 2 cloves of fresh minced garlic Sauce ingredients: 1 tbsp salted butter 2 tbsp vegan cream cheese 2 tbsp of pumpkin puree salt to taste (if needed) Instructions: In a bowl, add all the gnocchi ingredients except the cornstarch, and mix well until a dough forms. Add the cornstarch at the end and use more to dust the cutting board and each individual gnocchi. Make small gnocchi balls, shaped 1 in. X 1 in. Using a string, make pumpkin shapes on each gnocchi ball. Bring a pot of water to boil and add 1 tbsp of salt. When the water starts boiling, add the pumpkin gnocchi and boil for 8 minutes! In a saucepan, add the ingredients for sautéing the pumpkin gnocchi. Add in the cooked pumpkin gnocchi and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Take out the pumpkin gnocchi and place on a clean plate or bowl. In the same saucepan, add all the ingredients to the sauce. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes and pour on your serving plate. Arrange the cooked pumpkin gnocchi how you like it and drizzle a pinch of Spice Islands Thyme on top to make it extra fancy! Pumpkin Spice Vegan & GF Waffles 🧇 🎃 Are you team waffles 🧇 or team pancakes 🥞? Recipe: ( makes 6 big waffles) Vegan Egg ( known as the flax egg) : 1 Tbsp Ground Flaxseeds 3 Tbsp water Let this mix sit for 7 min to become gelatinous. After 7 min , in the same bowl add the following ingredients: 2 Tbsp Pumpkin Purée 2 Tbsp melted Coconut Oil 1 Tsp Baking Powder 1-1/4 Cup Oat Milk 1/2 tsp Pumpkin Spice 1-1/8 Cups GF Oat Flour 1/8 Cup Plant Protein or more Oat Flour. Mix all ingredients together until all combined. Set aside. Warm up your waffle maker . Pour 1/6 of the batter in and make total of 6 big golden waffles. Recipe : 1 cup Oat Flour 1/2 cup GF flour 1/2 cup Coconut or date sugar 1/2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon powder Pinch of salt 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 cup Unsweetened Good Karma Plant Milk @good_karma_foods 1/3 cup Apple Cider ( if apple cider is not available , can be replaced with apple juice + 1/2 tsp cinnamon) 2 1/2 Tbsp of melted coconut oil 1/4 cup apple sauce or apple butter In one bowl start by adding all the dry ingredients and mix ! Continue adding all the wet ingredients and mix with a whisker ! Prepare a donut mold, grease each donut mold with coconut oil! Pour the batter equally into the molds ! Bake for 12 minutes at 375 F !
