None Don’t set Unrealistic Goals Yes, we all want a better body, but for me I want to have bigger glutes and I’m creating a specific training program to get me bigger glutes. The more specific you can be with your goals, the easier it is to create a plan. If you don’t have a plan to get somewhere its easy to get lost and distracted along the way.

So because I travel so much I thought it would be great to blog about my coffee shop experiences. More points the better :) Thrown off by the name, I had to look up photos on yelp to see if this was really a coffee shop. I was looking for a cute coffee shop, but what I stumbled on was a community center that has coffee in the entrance. I encourage everyone to stop by this small town coffee shop to enjoy some great waffles, coffee and GIVE BACK.

There’s something about being around people in this industry that fuels me. Seeing people dedicate themselves to a cause...people who have been training for this one moment on stage or those trying to network for their business. Having these conversations with likeminded people that understand your vision and believe in what you’re doing. It also makes me reflect on my circle of friends and reminds me to surround myself with people who are positive and want to see me succeed.

The most common injuries as an athlete are sprains and strains, both of which take time to heal. Connective tissue is made up of primarily collagen; it is tissue that connects, supports, binds or separates other tissues/organs. So that being said, consuming the right foods can help prevent injuries and create stronger connective tissue. Look for food that is high in Collagen, Amino Acids, Vitamin C, Zinc, Copper and Vitamin E.
