Lately I have felt like Tori from Solitaire. Unfortunately my mental health has been struggling during this stay at home order 😕. I won’t go into detail, but I will say that I am okay. I wanted to share this because books like Solitaire give representation to mental illness and let’s people like me know I am not alone and that it’s okay to be open with my struggles. My life is definitely not always 100% and I want to share the good and bad with you all because I don’t want to have this image that I am always 100% when the reality is that no one is always 100%. Everyone has their ups and downs and that is perfectly okay. This week I finally watched the new Little Women movie 🎥. To be quite honest though, I wasn’t absolutely in love with it 😬. I think that is mainly because I had seen the 1994 film a couple of times already. If I watched this version without knowing anything about the story I think I would have loved it. Hello wonderful readers 😊. How is everyone doing? I have been in a bit of a funk lately to be honest. I haven’t had the motivation to post despite having pictures lined up to post. I have just been enjoying my time without the stress of posting and being active online all the time. However, I have still been in the shadows watching your stories and liking some posts here and there 💕. Today I also found out that I will be put on furlough at my job and will have to file for unemployment now. Thankfully I will still have my job when things start to open up. Some good news though is that I have been reading for about an hour each day since Monday 🤩! Maybe this reading slump will pass soon! I hope you all are doing okay! Since march 3rd, I have only finished one book 📖. I only finished that because I listened to it as an audiobook and I listened to most of it during my 4.5 hour car ride. For the past month or so, I haven’t had any motivation to read 😕. The most I have read in one sitting was maybe 15 pages. I just can’t get myself to pick up a book and stick with it. That is the main reason for my lack of active on my page lately. For the past two days my life has revolved around the k-drama Romance is a Bonus Book 📖💕. It was my first ever k-drama and I absolutely loved it. I pretty much watched it non stop lol. Animal crossing is what has been getting me through this crazy time 💕. I have built a new routine this week to try and give myself down time, but to also do more productive things 🤩. From the time I wake up till around 2pm, I give myself time to get ready for the day, eat breakfast, and meditate. Then the remainder of my time goes to my game. It allows me to escape our reality and just relax ☺️. After 2, I will usually eat my lunch and then move on to something more productive. In the last two days, I have washed my bedding, washed towels, filled 5 trash bags of clothes for donations and one box of crafts I want to donate to a friend 💕. This routine has helped me tremendously with my mental health during this time. I have been a bit lazy to be honest up until this week. But I will most likely have another month without work, so I want to try and do more productive things with my days 🌟 . . The fact that Sana has been crushing on Rachel for YEARS and Rachel is just convinced Sana is playing a trick is hilarious to me. Rachel is in for a big shock when she finds out 😱. Pushing a book to the side is never easy for me. I want to give every book a chance, but sometimes I just need to push it off to the side for another time.
