Inspiring ambitious creatives and helping content creators and entrepreneurs design and build a stunning and profitable brand 🎙 Pursuing The Happy
Top lessons I've learned in 2020 for my business: 1. I "quit" Instagram for a months, and my business was still fine 2. Feeling Overwhelmed? Take Breaks. 3. The best parts of life are when you step out of your comfort zone. 4. Niching Down is Really That Important Want to hear me delve deep into these 4 lessons? Whether your e-commerce website is for digital products (e.g. you’re selling courses and e-books), or for physical ones, all of these elements should be in your e-commerce website design package. When you purchase an e-commerce website design package, you shouldn’t be left to figure out these things on your own. As an e-commerce website selling products online, it’s crucial to have secure payment systems in place so your customers can trust your brand and feel safe and secure shopping on your site. Especially for e-commerce websites, it makes sense to do the email list integration together because there’s some backend setup that need to happen to link the e-commerce activities (such as purchases, abandoned carts, etc.) to email automations.
I’ve taken a huge break from “the grind” recently. Especially in terms of content creation and blogging 💻 , but also everything else in general. 🧘♀️ Honestly, seeing that we’ve got this extra time, it’s good to use it for “productive things” and to get ahead. 🗒 But it’s also a very rare opportunity for us to catch a breath. 😌 So don’t forget to a break from the hustle. Cherish it! 😁 📸: Pinterest #bossbabe #fempire #girlbossmovement #girlbossesunite #bossbabesquad #growyourbiz #foodblog #lifestylebloggers #contentmarketing #girlbossmindset #girlbossesunite #girlbosstribe #fempreneur #teenblogger #bloggerunder1k #teenpodcast #teenblog #girlblogger #collegeblogger #genzmemes #puzzlefeed #aesthetic #cuteillustration #graphicdesigners #phonebackground #graphicdesignerlife #stopthehustle #hustleandmotivate #mindfullifestyle #slowlivingforlife
I’ve got to say, while 2020 has no doubt been a crazy year, and a long one for many, I found that it still seemed to fly by for me. It’s no doubt been a very saddening and dark year for many, so I’m incredibly grateful for being able to say that I’m safe and healthy. But I did re-niche, so now my audience is quite different than what it was before, and now I’ve got to find a way to attract people from my new target audience. And the ones who are done with DIY-ing things in their business, and are looking to invest in their business in a way that’s going to pay off.
Anyone else here have a journal or diary? I love how I’m able to just empty my thoughts out onto paper and really process what I’m feeling. There are so many journal prompts out there and sometimes I use a few good ones I find from books, but most of the time I just write about whatever comes to mind. But here are some topics that might be fun to write about: -school -baking/good food you ate today -encounters with people -goals -recent challenges -gratitude and reflection Honestly, there’s so much you could write about but I’d say those are some of the things I like writing about most. Do you have a journal? because you don’t judge a book by its cover, but you certainly look at a person’s phone case as an extension of their personality. , I got a marble-like pattern called Gunmetal Grey from Slick Case! The only thing I’d say is a con is that it doesn’t have a “protective lip” over your screen that provides a gap between your phone’s screen and the surface of whatever you drop it on. I’d say that this one feels better to type with, plus it’s got a gradient grey color from light to dark.

To take care of your mental health, it’s essential to reflect on what emotion you’re feeling. When you pinpoint what it is that you feel, it’s easier to look for ways to take care of your mental health. Disconnecting from the black hole that is social media and connecting with people face-to-face doesn’t just strengthen your relationship with them; it gives you a break from troubling news and online hate and anxiety. Take the time to reflect on how you feel and what you can do to feel better, and remember not to let life’s setbacks keep you from minding your mind.
Land more collabs by adding these things to your media kit! A lot of my followers on here are fellow content creators, so I thought I’d transition to this new branch of content that will help you get seen 🔍 and grow 🌱 your platforms! So I’m starting an Ask Hedy series where I’ll be sharing tips and tricks that will help bring you results. 🔥 How do I level up my media kit for collabs? Do I need one in the first place?🔥 A media kit can be super helpful when pitching to brands...but only when used effectively. If you throw a whole bunch of stats that don’t effectively represent the VALUE 🌟 you bring to a brand, then a media kit isn’t going to do much. In fact, a GOOD, optimized media kit vs a BAD media kit can be a determining factor in whether or not you get the collab/sponsorship. And while media kits aren’t 100% necessary when you first start out, knowing what to put in them will help you stand out—and you can apply the same principles into your pitch! Things you need to include 📊 : •demographics •niche (including an effective “audience statement”) •screenshots •analytics I know this is quite broad...so I decided to host a FREE LIVE workshop👩🏻💻 where I go into everything in detail on August 17th at 5pm MST. It’s like a virtual hangout session where you’ll leave with actionable tips and a head start on your media kit. Sweatpants welcome! 😁 You’ll find huge value whether you’re just starting out with 0 followers, or have done collabs already but now want to maximize what you earn (I’m living proof that you don’t need 1k followers to get collabs). LINK IN BIO to register for the free workshop! Details for a giveaway (ooh!) will be given out once you register. Sign up today as registration will be capped!
Your skin absorbs an average of 64% of what you put on it, and your face is several times more permeable than other broad body surfaces. That’s why it’s so important to be mindful of what you put in your skin! Ever since quarantine started, I’ve really upped my skincare game and I did more research into what’s good for my skin and what’s not. Here are the a few benefits of just 3 simple natural skincare ingredients: Aloe ‣treat burns, insect bites, acne, and dry skin Vitamin E: ‣great antioxidant that helps reduce free radical damage Jasmine: ‣evens your skin tone and diminishes the appearance of spots or scars ‣Anyone here have a wonky sleep schedule? Did you know Jasmine can help with that? If you’re looking for a place to start, I have the perfect brand to recommend: @phenicskincare! In fact, all of their products include one or more of these 3 ingredients! They produce great results, and are all natural, cruelty free, and vegan as well. I was able to try out Phenic’s aloe vera serum, and can definitely vouch for it’s ability to smooth and nourish my skin. It instantly makes my face super soft, and helps retain the moisture to keep it that way for much longer. I also hate getting acne, so I love how the aloe vera helps with that! The serum is a great consistency, and comes in excellent packaging. Plus it smells amazing! Take a look at my newest blog post (link in bio) with more details on the benefits of each of these skincare ingredients—I go more in depth about each one.
