When in Winder, you MUST go to @bistrooffbroadwinder Besides the food being insanely delicious, the chef (and his staff) get it, they really get it. They use rice and corn flour when preparing fried items to keep their one and only fryer gluten free. And the menu features hard to find items, like fried calamari, sweet potato chips, and fish and chips (at lunch), all prepared safely with perfect wheaty textures created without gluten. Hats off to Chef Alex Friedman for creating a restaurant that welcomes all diners regardless of their dietary restrictions.
