Last night we got to see #BlueysBigPlay at the @kogercenterforthearts and it was amazing! It brought back so many memories of going to shows with my mom as a kid. Bluey is a highly intelligent Blue Heeler Pup that enjoys imaginative play - especially with her family. The [cartoon] show is constantly taking you on twists and turns of real life family fun and problem solving. It was neat to see the live show and my kiddos really enjoyed it. t’s hard to believe that it’s been 6 years since I started my blog and social media journey! It’s been filled with so many ups and downs but I was reminded that this is mine alone. 💭 for the last few months I’ve been contemplating shutting it all down. I felt like I lost my way. I haven’t seen the growth that I wanted but then I was reminded of one very important thing… 💭 My “why” Freely Nat started as a way for me to share my life as a single mom and my mental health journey. It’s always been about making it to the other side never the follower count or likes, etc. 💭While in church this week, the pastor spoke from Galatians 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” ‭‭He reminded us that if we have seed in the ground the harvest is sure to come. So many people give up right before they reap their harvest. 💭 I don’t believe that God is through with me yet. So, I won’t give up. What I will do is start facing my fears. I’ll be showing up as I feel led and continuing to create and share more real life moments. If you’ve been here all 6 years, thank you! I’m truly grateful for your love and support 😭 Sidenote: it never dawned on me that when I chose May 1 to be my launch date that it would also be the start of #MentalHealthMonth or that Mother’s Day is also celebrated.
