An indoor art exhibition in Vancouver that's on now

Finding inside events during these times can be quite difficult to say the least, but our city is lucky enough to be hosting an exhibition of 200 Van Gogh paintings that you can actually go see right now! Imagine Van Gogh is taking place at the Convention Centre until August 29, 2021 and is a contactless experience with limited capacity, timed entries, and operating in full accordance with British Columbia’s public health guidelines. Filling 25,000 square feet with 8 meter high walls (a meter higher than most of the previous cities got when they hosted the exhibit) this immersive exhibition displays giant projections of more than 200 of the famous Dutch artist the first filled with hanging placards that went into detail on the life and works of Van Gogh, and the second filled with the changing/moving giant projection of his art which fully covered the floor and walls.

How gay men (and others) can get free PrEP in Canada

From being a “celebrity server” at an AIDS Vancouver gala, to showcasing art for auction at A Loving Spoonful’s annual “Project Empty Bowl”, to selling raffle tickets at a variety of Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation fundraisers – the goal has always been to help improve the lives of those living with the virus while working on prevention and treatments. Freddie was created to provide healthcare for the LGBTQ2S+ community, which has traditionally been overlooked, stigmatized and marginalized. Freddie is especially great as an accessible alternative to people in smaller and rural communities who often don’t have access to proper LGBTQ2S+ care. It’s important to have caring clinicians who are trained and understand our community and all of Freddie’s staff have received sensitivity training

Get another phone number for Grindr hookups (and more)

Normally Hushed has 3 different pricing plans, ranging from $1.99 to $4.99 per month, which certainly isn’t expensive for a second line when you consider how much it would cost to get another number through a regular cell service provider (ie. paying for two plans), but they’ve put together a special deal for my readers though to be able to sign up for a lifetime plan like I have, with an incredible 83% discount! If you want an additional level of privacy or are looking to have a number that you can use to connect in a new area then here is the offer for you: for only $25 you can get a LIFETIME subscription of a second phone number that comes with 1000 minutes of call time and 6000 sms text messages including picture messaging. The plan is just a one-time payment, with the minutes and sms renewing every year.– that’s an incredible deal that would cost less than just one month of having a second number through your service provider! It can feel pretty uncomfortable to give out your phone number to someone new, who you can’t fully trust with your personal contact info yet, so having a second number (that you can easily change at any point) is a fantastic feature to have on your phone that you’ll surely find ways to use time and time again.

How LGBTQ people can protect their privacy online

Personal VPNs can be particularly helpful for someone who doesn’t feel comfortable accessing LGBTQ related information online and leaving an online trail that could show that. A personal VPN service masks your IP address so that when you connect to the internet via your VPN, your ISP won’t know which sites you’re This can be helpful to LGBTQ people living in countries that restrict access to certain LGBTQ-related websites and content, as well as to LGBTQ travelers visiting those countries who aren’t used to having those restrictions. Whether you want to bypass censorship and restrictive networks, stream without limitations, defeat data retention, or just ensure no one else can know what you’re doing online, a VPN can be a really easy and inexpensive way to accomplish any/all of those things.
