Here’s the leg workout I completed yesterday. I began by foam rolling and stretching. From there, I activated the stabilizing muscles with mini bands before going into larger compound movements, patterning the exercise with body weight before adding weight. Rededicating myself to a clean eating regimen has been very challenging for me these last few months. Finding the time to cook is certainly not the problem. Finding the resources hasn’t been the problem either. I reflected on why I’ve been struggling and I came to the conclusion that most everything that’s been happening for the past 10 months has forced me to be flexible and quick to shift on a dime. What I crave is a moment to stop and complete just one task mindfully, but when that time comes, I’m too emotionally and mentally spent to do it. The result? I eat just like I tackle obstacles...quickly and too flexibly. . : So what to do...because we all have to eat in a healthy and mindful manner. Here’s what I’m doing...start the day this way. Whether you intermittent fast, eat 6 mini meals a day, or are just trying to introduce new greens to your day. Start your day with a mindful choice that nourishes your body. Today, I chose to mindfully prepare egg whites, shallots and asparagus served with a hot cup or black tea. And it was just what I needed. .
