I made a dock today for the upper pond. I used the shipping pallet that the high tunnel came on many years ago. A 50 gallon barrel as a float and 2 gallon buckets cemented with aluminum poles. I had a wonderful Father’s Day.

I’ve have had a love/hate relationship with weed trimmers for most of my adult life. I have a pile of ones that won’t start in the barn. It came time to invest in one that will start easily and last for years. I went with a @stihlusa #fs56c because it wasn’t the base model and came with the handle and sling so I wouldn’t feel fatigue. This one came with a 4 year warranty since I purchased motomix pre mixed fuel. Now I can keep the weeds down and feel proud of the yard work I do on my just under 8 acre #homestead
