Then a few months ago, I woke up and decided that for August, I wasn’t going to eat beef. Now I eat 3-4 meals a day, and I don’t crave salty or sweet foods. Let us FREE!! No really this self quarantine and social distancing are two phrases I've never heard of until two weeks ago. The entire world is making lifestyle changes whether they want to or not. What happens to a dream deferred? It gets pushed back to a later date. The biggest question within the last few weeks other than, "What are you eating?" is "Are you still doing your show?" Jokingly, I've responded "even if I have to wear a bedazzled mask." All jokes aside the show was canceled yesterday. This is so much more than wearing a mask and living your life. Daily things are changing, obstacles are presented, unknowns are discovered. 🤯 As a Mom I'm concerned by my girls' future? What's our world going to look like after a global pandemic? How long are we going to be quarantined? Is my family prepared for the long haul? Then life is still happening. Within the last week my husband and I have lost mentors in our life. Many families are losing their loved ones to the Coronavirus. We've been praying daily for friends who are fighting or those who are infected. This is REAL folks! So, to be upset over a Fitness Competition is the least of my worries. There will be more Fitness Competitions they're hosted year round. Training doesn't stop! This is my sport! The goal hasn't changed not until I have a Pro Card in hand. Just everything got pushed back. What has come out of this is an enormous Gratitude for my virtual fam! Especially after waking up to so much love. The overwhelming amount of support that came in my message box overnight is so appreciated. "No one supports you like a social media friend you've never met." The fact that so many took the time to send a message to lift my spirits and encourage me.... has this Mama feeling loved today and so grateful Thank you!! There will be more shows and I can't wait to rock my amazing suit at the next one. Thank you @hk55874 for coaching me, encouraging me and setting my head straight from time to time. I really needed this and you helped make that happen. Thank you @ocbcatonsvilleconquer for trying your best and making a hard decision for the what's best for the competitors over all. I can't wait to Conquer the Stage in 2021 but until then I guess its building time. Praying for our world now more than ever and adjusting daily to this new normal.🙏🏾🤪🙏🏾💪🏾🥰🙏
