In this cheerful house in Greenville, SC, the colorful living room design caught my eye with its vibrant hues. I love a nuanced color palette, and the unexpected combinations of periwinkle blue, teal, pink, lime green, and yellow all live together so happily in this space! With the bright, clean foundations of the white sofa, neutral rug, and paisley wallpaper, the room has a really fresh feel that looks so inviting. After Atlanta interior designer Sherry Hart convinced her recently divorced friend and client to buy in the new Manchester development in Buckhead (my new neighborhood!), she brought a chic black-and-white palette to the intown home. Hart brought a few key pops of color to her signature layers of neutral textures, creating a layered fresh start for her client. I love the lived-in styling that she added to the project, which incorporated that key personal touch that’s especially needed during major life transitions. The anti-aging effects of Klotho therapy were first demonstrated in mice in which mice that had been genetically engineered to lack Klotho proteins experienced premature aging-related diseases. They believe that Klotho therapy focused on enhancing this pathway may help to treat diabetes and obesity, while Klotho therapy that blocks this pathway may successfully treat liver cancer and bone disorders, among other diseases. Low levels of Klotho result in more severe symptoms and worse outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease and can contribute to further health complications such as cardiovascular disease. Diabetic mice treated with Klotho therapy experienced significantly reduced blood glucose levels and significantly increased insulin levels.
I used Clare’s best-selling Whipped warm white paint, the Current Mood dark green, and a coral pink called Pop for a fun nook. The biggest challenge in Murphy’s apartment is the low ceiling height, and in the bedroom especially, I wanted to use dark paint color to expand the space and make the ceiling feel higher and the walls less close. There’s an adorable little nook in Murphy’s living room with a window seat that was really under utilized before, so I decided to use paint to define this area and make it feel like its own separate space. With this small corner I knew I could do something fun, so I opted for Murphy’s favorite color, pink, in Clare’s Pop wall paint which has a saturated coral hue.
