How To Build Your Personal Brand on Social Media

It’s my one-stop source of news, information and While it’s a great way to interact with friends, share funny content and keep up with the latest news. Use LinkedIn to connect with others, keep up with the professional achievements of your network and share content that is consistent professional interests. It seems as though everyone and their brother has an account, which is why it’s important for you to ensure that your profile is clean and consistent. Again, don’t post anything you wouldn’t want your grandma to see (chances are she’s on Facebook anyway).

A College Student’s Guide to Long Distance Relationships

As someone who is currently in a long distance relationship and has been in one previously, I can personally attest to the fact that communication is key. Though it seems fairly straight-forward, I’ve seen a lot of relationships crumble due to poor communication or no communication at all. The decision to jump into a long distance relationship isn’t always an easy one, especially if you’ve only been together for a short while before parting ways. Whether you’ve been together for years or you’re new to long distance, it’s important to remind yourself why you made that decision and why you think the wait is ultimately worth it.

Spring Break: The Perfect Time to Get Sh*t Done

Whether you’re traveling or spending some quality time at home, spring break is the perfect time for you to get your bearings straight and get sh*t done. Once it’s been emptied, you can load up your bag with the essentials, such as: * Pens (My favorite are the Pilot G2) For more tips on how to stay organized in college, consider reading this Odyssey article. During my freshman year of college, I landed my dream internship at PR 20/20, a digital marketing agency based in Cleveland, Ohio, by simply conducting some research, getting in touch with a current employee and putting myself out there. It’s easy to get caught up in schoolwork, and keeping up with old friends can be tough when you’re constantly running around.

How to Have Fun on a College Budget

As an added bonus, students can score discounted admission during the cold winter season or attend events, such as Zoo Book and Wizards Weekend. Syracuse University students can visit the Everson Museum of Art, which offers $6 admission to students, pay-what-you-wish admission every Wednesday and FREE admission every third Thursday from 5-8pm. For SU students, Armory Square is a vibrant hub in the heart of the city that offers boutiques, restaurants, and hole-in-the-wall local gems, such as the Sound Garden, which is my favorite record store. Clark Reservation State Park, Green Lakes State Park and Letchworth State Park (just outside of Rochester) are just a few of the most popular attractions in the surrounding cities.
