🌞Thinking of Tulum 🌴🇲🇽 Ever since I first visited Tulum 3 years ago I've been waiting for an excuse to go back. If you're not familiar with Tulum, it's a cute little beach town in Mexico 2 hours south of Cancun. 🏝 The beach part only has 1 main road and until recently it was super low key and only powered by generators. Now it's got a cool hippie-chic vibe and is dotted with small boutique hotels, outdoor restaurants and bars, and even a few badass yoga studios. Some people even visit for spiritial healing retreats. There are also tons of cenotes nearby as well as Mayan ruins to go explore. So who's trying to plan a trip to Tulum with me? 😉

Walking into 2021 🤩 vs Walking into 2020 What the difference? Being dressed for the weather, aka being prepared! This year, I know what I'm doing. It's been a year of discovery and reflection, self love and acceptance, and most importantly, a year of growth. On the 5️⃣th Day of Emily, my mechanic gave to me... One brand new headlight, Two working wipers, and a hot bowl of egg drop soupppp. I couldn't believe it when I asked how much the bill for @vandemicusa was and they told me it was on the house. They had no idea it's my birthday soon, but I'll count that as a birthday gift from the universe. This pic is from exactly 3 months ago, when I was driving from one of the furthest points on Long Island into NYC. The sunset was so spectacular that I couldn't resist stopping to admire it (even tho the beach is technically for locals only). Today's drive from the Hamptons into the city wasn't quite as scenic. It was cold, wet, and rainy, which is why I'm so grateful to have working wipers again!
