Ladies! Let’s start with the basics… most times I get the question where do I start? 1. Let’s start working on your savings. Begin saving as much as possible. You may need money to pay down debit as well as money for down payment and moving costs. 2. Clear up your credit! Make sure you are paying bills on time, paying down high balances and do not open lines of credit unless your mortgage broker tells you to! 3. Make sure you have steady income. Don’t hop around jobs, you need consistent employment in the same industry, at least 2 years! There are some work arounds but it’s case by case. 4.
