My name is Kristen and I’m a 24-year-old born and raised Austinite, which makes me a sort of unicorn in these parts. I’m a chef and health fanatic, who loves working out and trying out new recipes. I’ve cultivated a following of like-minded people who love to see the food I’m cooking, restaurants I’m trying and events I’m going to. When I’m not in the kitchen or hanging out on the internet, you can probably find me in the gym or cuddling up with my cats and girlfriend in East Austin. I started out my Instagram just like most other millenials, but after a while, I noticed that I had gained quite a following. I can only attribute this to my authentic portrayal of my life as a member of the LGBTQ community paired with just the right amount of #foodporn — I would loosely describe myself as a lifestyle/food blogger, and more accurately classify my “brand” as a girl faking it til she makes it.
