The Yellow Deli!… the time I almost got inducted into a cult.

They’re rude, take their time with your food, smell weird and will try to recruit you but everyone looks past it all because the food is amazing . I spent about two hours there and no one said anything about them being a cult, no one made any weird worshippy comments or anything but in their defense, the first rule of cult is to never talk about cult. * The Yellow Deli (in Oneonta) will invite you to an event; dinner, party, etc as a way to invite you into their “organization”. * The Yellow Delhi is an organization that believes in the 12 tribes Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Privacy & Cookies: This site uses cookies.

Brunch with Bri: Jimmy’s W 38th

Here’s my take: While Jimmy’s isn’t known for its food the least they could have done for brunch was make it nice. Now this clearly isn’t the type of place you want to take your mom for brunch unless she’s down with the get down and if she is let’s share a mom. It’s a party brunch kind of scene; after your meal (You have a 2 hour limit) you have the option to go to the other side of the club and order bottles or just stay in the middle where there’s pretty much an open floor. New Year, New Me: The Importance of Self Reflection and Revision

What No One Ever Tells You About Graduating… New Year, New Me: At the end of each year, we always come up with these new goals for ourselves; weight loss, new internship, better lifestyle habits. However, as the new me stepped into my life things just felt weird, sure I dressed better, looked better, and seemed more mature I couldn’t help but shake the feeling that this was not me. Life After College… Update!

I graduated college and was employed for a couple of months, jobs in my field would not hire me because I needed more experience than I had and jobs that weren’t in my field I was so focused on having the job of my life I missed out on so many amazing opportunities because I was stuck in the mindset that my life would all come together 2-3 months after graduating college. You’ve spent the past couple of years “learning” about yourself and trying new experiences and just living your best life the college way. You are entering a new stage in your life, a stage where your life isn’t centered around school, you no longer have to get up at the crack of dawn and listen to someone lecture you for hours.
