Merry Christmas, all!!!🎄🎁 Quick story behind the photo of G and me together… Procrastination got the best of me this year and I ended up putting off getting holiday photos of Gedalya and I for our holiday cards. Do you guys remember when it suddenly started getting cold here in the Vegas valley? Well that’s when G and I finally had the time to take photos outside! 🙈 Per my request, my sweet husband agreed to brave the freezing cold with me one night so we could take pictures in front of a large Christmas tree. I remember walking from the parking lot to the tree and there was barely anyone around. After a few snaps we took of each other, I was pretty much set on the fact that we wouldn’t get a nice photo together in one shot since it was just us two. Plus, I wanted to get back to the car ASAP!!! My fingers were starting to become numb haha! 🥶 A part of me was bummed. My need to control started to creep in and I started to feel disappointed. 😞 As a final attempt to snap a photo of us together, I took a selfie of G and me. I remember thinking in my head “Okay, God. I am grateful for this photo, but wish it looked better! But at least we made it out here and thank you for this moment.” 🙏🏼 Then out of nowhere, a sweet lady offered to take a photo of G and me in front of the tree together 😍 We explained how grateful we were and I let her know we were trying to take photos for our Christmas cards. She said, “Oh yeah, no selfie. I’m taking your photo!!” 🤣 And she took a ton of us! In return, we offered to take photos of her and her family in front of the tree as well. I remember looking at the screen and seeing how genuinely happy they were. Such a beautiful family!!! 📸 I know this was such a small interaction between two groups of people, but it’s one of those things where I not only see a photo of me and G in front of a Christmas tree here, but I will forever remember the kind gesture from a stranger and her obedience to be boldly kind to a couple freezing in the cold and trying to take photos. ♥️ (more in comments👇🏼)

Yesterday, a friend of mine gave me this card as part of a gift. Although the gift itself was beautiful, I think my favorite part of the present was this card. 🌀✨ What's really cool is... 1. I personally already own a deck of these same scripture cards! 2. The card had a verse typed on it that I needed most in this current season. "Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic...For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. Had the best time with @jetsettindaisy at @hakkasanvegas at @mgmgrand, couple weekends ago weekend ✨ The menu was deliciously insane! 😋 For drinks, we had their spirit-less cocktails, the Rock Melon Refresher and the Soft Hakka.
