This small park in Copenhagen is called Langelinie and every year for a few weeks in April it turns into a cherry blossom wonderland. 🌸 Another great spot to see these beautiful blooming trees in Copenhagen is the ‘Cherry Alley’ in Bispebjerg Cemetery. Both of these places get packed in the weekends so if you want to avoid the crowds, show up early or visit during the workweek. Save this post for your Copenhagen spring trip! 🇩🇰 #sakura #visitcopenhagen #visitdenmark #ilovecph #cherryblossom #springindenmark #copenhagenlife #langelinie
A place where majestic mountains, turquoise fjords and waterfalls meet 💚 A few moments from the Silent Trollfjord Cruise by @brimexplorer that we did last summer on the Lofoten Islands. ⛰️ This fairytale-like place is the most famous fjord in Lofoten and a perfect example of Norway’s amazing natural beauty. Besides all the epic views, what I loved about this cruise was Brim Explorer’s focus on sustainability and environmental protection. Their tours are carried out on hybrid-electric catamarans with silent engines so there’s minimal impact to the wildlife and the environment. 🫶🏼 If you’re planning a trip to Norway this spring/summer and you’d like to book this cruise (or any of @brimexplorer ‘s other boat tours in Norway), use my discount code ‘smoothescape’ to get 5% off! | AD P.S. If you want to know more about the Trollfjord cruise, you can find my detailed guide about this experience on my blog thesmoothescape.com. #lofotenislands #trollfjord #norway #norwegiansummer #fjordsofnorway #fjordcruise

If you want to experience the spectacular nature of Norway without crowds, then you should consider visiting Senja. This lesser-known island in northern Norway has remained under the radar of foreign travelers despite its breathtaking Arctic landscapes and unspoiled nature. Here’s everything you need to know to plan your trip to Senja Island:
Missing those surreal landscapes of Senja Last summer we spent a few days on this beautiful unspoiled island in northern Norway and loved every minute of it. 💙 The photos in this post: 1. The jagged peak of Segla 2. Devil’s Teeth mountains 👹 3. Midnight Sun 4. A fairytale-like setting 5. Cool reflections at Tungeneset 6. Catching my breath on the hike to Hesten 🏔️ 7. Mountain view that looks like a painting 🖼️ Have you ever heard of Senja? P.S. You can find all these spots in my latest blog post about Senja Island. We visited Tromsø in northern Norway in the middle of the Polar Night period, the Aurora Borealis season and the whale watching season. It was absolutely magical! Here's my 4-day Tromsø itinerary that allows you to experience the incredible beauty of the Arctic winter, including Northern Lights, reindeer sledding, orca sightings and amazing views of snow-covered landscapes.
Hello Aurora Borealis 😍🌌 A few shots of the amazing northern lights show we saw in Norway at the end of last year. I’m still baffled by the fact that the people who live there get to see this every few days. Imagine you’re just going to work or running errands and suddenly the sky turns green.😳 Scientists predict that 2024 will be an exceptionally good year for seeing the northern lights and that they’ll be more intense than they’ve been in the last two decades. If you’ve ever dreamt of seeing the northern lights then 2024 is the year to make that dream come true! I’m already tempted to book another trip up north to see them again. 😅 #northernlights #northernlightsphotos #auroraborealis #aurora #arcticcircle #visittromso #nordlys #norway
If you had told me a few years ago that I should visit northern Norway in the middle of the winter, I would have told you that you’re crazy. Why would I want to go somewhere so cold? Now that I’ve been there, I can say it’s 100% worth it! Sometimes beautiful experiences require a bit of discomfort. ❄️ Here are some cool things to do in Tromsø: 🐋 Go whale watching 🦌 Visit a reindeer camp 🌌 See the Northern Lights 🚙 Road trip around Kvaloya 🗻 Visit Fjellheisen viewpoint 🛖 Learn about the indigenous Sami culture #arcticcircle #northernlights #visitnorway #norge #norwaynature #auroraborealis #winterwonderland #scandinavia
One of the most epic rainbows I’ve seen. We were driving home after a hike in southern Spain when the weather took a turn for the worse and it started to drizzle. Suddenly this vivid double rainbow appeared on the side of the road and we couldn’t believe our eyes 😍. It looked as if it was rising straight out of the ground in front of us. I love this kind of unexpected moments of Mother Nature doing her magic 🫶🏼 Where’s the most beautiful rainbow you’ve seen? #rainbow #naturelover #doublerainbow #marbella #costadelsol #awesomeearth #nature_perfection
The city of Tromsø in Norway is famous for its Northern Lights and picturesque landscapes but it’s also a fantastic place for seeing whales in the wild. In the fjords near Tromsø, you can witness a unique phenomenon where orcas, humpback whales, fin whales and sperm whales come to feed in the same area. Here’s my guide to whale watching in Tromsø:
