hi hello 👋🏼 I’m here to report back on that @sprouts croissant toast I finally got my hands on. It’s good! To test I prepared it really simply to make sure I got the full effect: I just buttered and toasted two slices on the stovetop and used them to make a veggie sausage and egg breakfast sandwich with a fried egg. #swipeleft To me it was almost identical to the @laboulangeriesf OG you’ve seen me using for years. Slightly chewier, but it could have been the particular loaf I got. Otherwise, same flakiness, same butteriness, loaves are the same size, and they’re both the same price. I would say expect to see me use them interchangeably but I shop at Whole Foods more than Sprouts so that would probably prove to be a lie.
