When sailing the high seas with @princesscruises Sky there is always so much fun to be had. I chilled next to the pool whilst reading my @rightsaidfredofficial book, took part in Princess champagne event, sipped on drinks in the bars, ate the most delicious food, watched the Grand National on big screen, played bingo, took part in Gameshows such as Yes/No gameshow, competed in quizzes and enjoyed some selfie moments with my hubby. Whilst on board I also had the pleasure in meeting Stanley Bear, Sue Holderness, who played Marlene from Only Fools and Horses, and even the Captain Heikki Laakkonen. Last week, I headed on down to Southampton and stayed for the night at @room2hometels before jumping onto a cruise. As most of you know I just love cruising. Me and my husband we always stay the night before at Room2 in Southampton, and this time, we stayed within their most popular room 302, which is nicknamed The Pink Room. This room seemed slightly smaller to the usual park view room we usually have, but I think that is to do with the shape of the room. Even though the room is cute and was a nice touch with the kitchen being more off set, making it seem like another room, I prefer the longer style room we usually stay in. Plus, I did not like how the bed was set next to the window and overlooked another building. However nevertheless still had a great size bathroom and comfy bed resulting in a good night sleep and great stay as usual. The Grand Expedition by Gingerline first piloted back in Tottenham, London in 2019. Since then t,e show has travelled the world spending time in Shenzhen, Shanghai, China, Seoul & Korea. Now it ,as returned for a new story and a new full scale reimagining for a limited time only.  Gingerline The Grand Expedition immersive dining experience will take you up up and away as you head through the clouds, you'll see hot air balloons all around, as you sit in one of these 8 seater balloons you'll then be taken on a journey around the world all in just 3 hours where you'll be entertained and taste delicacies from four countries, even Outer Space. As you travel the globe, listen and watch as animation from the projection screen, which spans the circumference of Dalston's Film Shed, as it displays a gorgeous, fairy book-style illustrations of Fred Campbell. Upon touching down in each new location, without giving too many spoilers away their is entertainment from performers and much fun to be had along with tasty food by Exec Chef Jenny McNeill of @flavourology Sitting in this stationery wooden hot air balloon was a fun experience howe. Howeverding where you are sat can make a big difference as I felt the inner hotbair balloons had far much happening from start to end. Those like me I was sat along with my husband @jasonmort007 plus six strangers on one the outer edge balloons, even though the projection practically expanded the walls 360 we found it hard to see the performances, however I did love it when they came around and played numerous games with us keeping us entertained. I especially loved swinging on the swing and saying hi to a cheeky monkey. As for the food, it was great and I just did not like it when they were sharing dishes I never know how much to take,so I always end up having the lesser portion. All in all, though, a fun night. As The Arch is a Pub, Sports Bar and Restaurant that covers it all from Premier League Football to International Cricket; Ruby to Formula One Racing. That's why The Arch is ideal for any occasion as you can enjoy North Indian cuisine which alsohas a great selection of vegetarian / vegan dishes, or if you don't fancy spice then you can always order from the Burger & Wings menu instead all whilst enjoying an array of drinks from the drinks menu be it a beer or a delicious cocktail. I went along a few weeks ago with my friend Denise and we enjoyed a variety of food plus drinks, all of which was delicious but some dishes was a tad too spicy for me but then I can't handle heat much. My favourite dishes were the Kachori, which are homemade pastries stuffed with spiced mashed green peas. The pastry was buttery and crumbly and packed with crushed peas. My other favourite dish was the Lamb Chops, sizling, and the tasty meat easily pulled away from the bone, so succulent and moorish. So if you visit, I highly recommend it. The cocktails were also delicious, very fruity, and punchy. The Arch is a great edition to it's well known Club 2000, which is in Rayners Lane. So if you're looking for a gastro type pub to eat, drink, and enjoy sport, then The Arch in Wembley is the perfect place. My favourite season is just around the corner, and that's Spring time....yippee! Why as flowers start to bloom, birds start to nest, bees gather pollen, and lambs are born. Have you heard that @wearezizzi in Bow Street, Covent Garden has a new makeover. The furnishings are chic, with browns and pastels and has a great feature wall with a neon sign saying "I do not share food" which pretty sums up any of us if we are enjoying our meal. Zizzi is known for their tasty huge thin crust pizzas and delicious pasta dishes but did you know they also serve up mains such as pork belly, sea bass, salmon etc. Plus a range of cocktails and mocktails. The food I and my friend enjoyed we thought were good portions and was quite good for a chain restaurant which serves food at a reasonably fast pace and considering this Zizzi is based in the heart of Covent Garden near many theatres is the perfect place to grab a bite. Me and my friends @jojoexplora @wanderlustlynseyjane @jasonmort007 we played The Case of Colombia’s Finest, which took us on a journey to help Jim Robusta who owns a coffee company to help him solve his colleagues shady past. So we set out to sniff out evidence of his colleagues crime. We loved how we started within Blackfriars area and stayed within the area. Even though I worked in Blackfriars for many years this mobile mystery adverture certainly did get me discovering hidden secrets and areas of Blackfriars which I never knew. To discover though what I discovered you'll just have to take on the hunt yourself. Here a few few sneeky pics of our adventure and the type of questions you'll be faced with. No matter though what game you take on you'll be taken on an adventure as you discover London cracking clues to solve a criminal case. How far would you go for love? Hadestown is a romantic musical by Anais Mitchell which is full of song. It is based on an ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice love. Eurydice, is a young poor girl looking for something to eat, so she sells her soul to Hades to work in his hellish industrial underworld to escape poverty and the cold. When her poor singer-songwriter lover Orpheus hears what she has done he takes a long journey down to the underworld to rescue her but he is soon faced with a choice by Hades to have her back but is it a trick? This musical spin on the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice is a great love story which was very high energy from start to finish with over 32 songs from a mix of jazz, folk and gospel. Each cast member giving impressive vocals and the live band delivering powerful dramatic music to the show. However there was a little far too many songs for my liking and I would of liked more spoken scenes between the characters. The second half had more spoken word scene so preferred that half and a shocking ending for the two love struck lovers. So if you love romance, underworld and songs, songs, songs then you'll love Hadestown. For the perfect steak night date night head on over to @1lombardstreet I love 1 Lombard Steet as of its relaxed atmosphere, ambience and staff, especially Luka who is always so welcoming but what I most love a about it there is there steak. You can enjoy steak every night at 1 Lombard Street but on Fridays you can enjoy Sirloin Steak & Frites as well as a glass of wine for just £25 after 5pm. Their meat comes from regenerative farms in England @ethicalbutcher The steak was rich in flavour, along with a lovely fatty crispy side which melted in the mouth. The peppercorn sauce was velvety and not too overpowering. The Frites was a nice length and was fluffy with a great crunch to them. The Rose wine was nice, mild and light. After dinner me and @jasonmort007 we had a cocktail in their chilled bar downstairs. I enjoyed a glass of their Strawberry Rose. This cocktail consisted of vodka, strawberry syrup and soda. Sweet but quite strong, perhaps a little too strong for me but was nice. Sip, chill, relax and take in the unusual decor from Toby mugs to a scary melting looking Mickey Mouse head.
