Still trying to figure out the lighting situation at my new school (priorities, right?) but here’s the first of many hallway pictures to come! 🍎 Although I won’t have a classroom of my own this year, I’m excited to start my dream job as a full-time instructional coach! Last year I split my time between teaching and coaching K-5 Math, so I can’t wait to spend this year also working with teachers on Writing, Science and SS! I’m at a great new school with an amazing team pursuing my passion for teacher development. However, it’s been tough to leave behind a school, district, and kids that I truly loved. Detroit Public Schools will always have a very special place in my heart and I’m forever grateful for everything I learned during my time there as both an instructional coach and teacher.⁣ ⁣ I can’t wait to use this little corner of the internet to share new teaching strategies with you all!
